That lock automatically can lock the door without a door and window sensor. It senses when the door closes and locks. I have that lock.

Honestly I would just use a standard motion sensor rather than a present sensor.

I hate their app. Connecting to their app doesn't work for me ever so until that gets fixed I will never get their products

I live in Northern Canada- never had an issue with the app. These locks work great for me and the auto lock is in the settings so the motion sensor is only needed for the lights. Managed easily from Apple Home app as well.
