I agree with the others. Pull those hokey wheels. Put stock SS wheels and caps on it. The Air Ride is NOT a plus. It was NEVER an option. In 1958-59 Chevy and other GM cars offered a trouble prone air suspension. Not many Chevy buyers Ordered it but it was pretty common on Cadillacs. The coil springs were replaced with air bags. It was such a disaster that most ended up being converted back to coils at great expense to the owners.

Stock wheel covers please . Ditch the air ride and the skirts on order .

in 1964 it was a dealer's option for Air Ride some people added at dealership just like a tissue dispenser not all came with it a lot of options were not hard to get at all and if you would have ordered your car from Factory you could of had Factory air ride

People saying how great old cars are. Get out of your 2000+ anything hop behind the wheel of a 50/60 year old car....I will take my plush OLD 2002 Windstar van. P widows seats.cruise. Rear heat...automatic slide doors...proximity warn sys. Listen guys the new cars beat the pants off of OLD CARS. I know I'm 68 yrs old. We never had nothing else. But I do love looking @ them.

I totally agree. Bring it back to the original wheel covers!. After all, it is old enough to pay close attention to the details. The pedals are also wrong. I believe the gas pedal is from a Pontiac. Air ride is okay if you use it properly - for cruisin'. He is right about the 409 needing a tach. Of course, any 4 speed should have one. I wonder what they actually did to the engine. Paperwork on the rebuild? Of course I know this is 9 years ago but, why not comment! Did it have power steering? I had a 63 409.
