Or so it has been documented. I don’t have Viper money I’m willing to part with. Blame that shitty headbolt pattern because it’s essentially a cammed out, pissed off truck motor. pretty sure the viper let off to shift and screwed up.. you can hear it. What your seeing is one car slowing down while the other is car speeding up, making it look faster than it really is..

I love how in the 3rd race, in the cockpit of the viper you cant even hear the 8.0 V10 at all you just hear the sweet sound of a boosted 4 banger screamin past😂

The Viper has been legendary since day one. The fact that it ever got past the Chrysler bean counters and made it to production, let alone lasted more than 20 years gives it a special place in automotive history. And Honda sold a lot of Civics.
