Rob and isiah are single-handedly showing the world that things like this are possible! I am genuinely curious how many other people will begin development on more reliable and powerful rotaries in the next 20 years.(yes I know rob isn’t the only one that does this kind of rotary stuff but he surely is one of the best)

​@@youravantgarde To be fair, they've probably put less money into this project then Mazda did when they made the FD...hell, getting the rotary off the ground from the the abysmal state they got it from Germany probably costed more than the entire car.

@Rya 31 well of course they did. It costs hundreds of millions to develop a production car. I think he mentioned in one video he has a little over $100k into this car. Mad Mike and plenty of others have built very strong reliable rotary engines. The truly amazing thing about Rob and his friends is they did this all by themselves. Built the whole thing and learned everything from complete scratch and done something no one else has. That said if I had a ton of money and didn't work a 9 to 5 I could also do something amazing. But one can dream.

I love seeing how far this car has come, it's crazy how fast it feels like it went from still very "untamed" to an absolute monster. You and the rest of the guys' excitement is infectious and I can't wait to see more of the races, that teaser at the end was well done.

use the high carbon fittings. they are not stainless but they should hold up to the heat as well as being safe to about 5k psi

I love seeing the 4 rotor get more and more dialed in with every pass. This is only the beginning of how fast this beauty can go.

Rob & Isaiah are just such an excellent combo. They live this car and know and trust each other's understanding and skills. Fun to watch, and such awesome results. Of course, we wouldn't SEE this without Joel's super camera work!

I am with you, I have same gripes you had with Hoonigan’s storytelling. It’s sad that so many channels decide to leave out the trials and tribulations, it’s not always as simple as hands go down and the cars go.

They have to cut down the episodes to a certain length to maximize watch time and such if the series doesn't do well numbers wise it's not gonna exist have to take the good with the bad

For Hoonigan, they have a whole staff they have to pay, it's their job and if the videos don't succeed then maybe the people we see on screen would be fine, but editors would lose their jobs, everyone backstage, for big media teams like that they actually have to make a living off of it.

IIRC, Parker hydraulics has some pretty good stainless compression fittings, not sure if they'll have the size you need, but something to check.

That's really cool seeing a broken 4th wall with the Hoonigan race. It's crazy to think that a lot of the vibe to the This Vs. That videos owe a lot to banging transitions and jump cuts. That's wild. Very cool.
