@@marjukchannel7372 They saw a dead body in the trunk of the car (inside a suitcase I think). I'm not sure what the ending meant either!

This film made me believe that story doesn't has to be grand scale or to have perfect ending, story can be of simple things and without any message. It's just that how you feel while watching it. It's just that emotions. I'm greatful for the makers hope you guys very good luck in future projects.

8:02 now THAT is like a scared person really runs down the street, not like so often in Hollywood movies where they are more trotting so the camera can have a good look. VERY NICELY MADE DETAIL, thanks a lot!

Umm..didn't you get that the narrator came in as part of an essential plot device as well as adding some entertaining camp comedy through a fourth wall break narrative ....followed by him actually changing the whole game by narrating where the dude was about to come up on the car with the knife.....hence she opened the door and smashed his head cuz she had that tip off....it was actually amazingly done ...slipped in so perfectly and not overdone....but ya..narrator became essential at that point....good times😊😁

Blake Ridder, love your acting almost as much as your direction. Minute 4 to 5 is my favorite part.

When she started sniffing herself then her friend...😆😆😆😆 "It could've been Stacey" 🤢🤮 I knew it had to be a dead body. Anyway besides being hilarious this was an amazing short film. Your portrayal of that character was awesome Blake. I loved him!! He was so innocent and a sweetheart ❤️

A great filmmaker. This from someone in the TV industry. You take a story and give it a unique feel, a sort of Tarrantino ambience. The characters feel cliche and yet very real. Very clever and very very watchable. You draw us in and keep us there.

A little graphic lol, but I love the style. I really enjoyed that narration, it's a unique style I haven't seen before. I guess for a graphic movie, the child like aspect of the narration adds to the uniqueness of this style, very cool.

Options: 90 minutes of Snoresville or 13 minutes with an intriguing storyline, that reels us in and keeps us there, bravo.

Mr. Blake Ridder. This is an absolute elegance. It was total thrill to the mind. I've watched it twice and still I'm finding many questions unanswered within my mind. Now probably I can make an inference about what might be the shadowed meaning of the short movie. Movie titled " A simple robbery" where it has been beautifully designed about how a simply intended things goes wrong and beyond our thoughts when plans don't go our way. A simple thing can turn to be grievous. A simple robbery turned to a murder which they might never had thought. Comparing Kim and stacy, I found stacy to be less conscious than kim by the fact that : 1. When Jon denied those two " bad girls" for lift, stacey was insisting more and kim didn't want to bother more and asked to let them go. 2. Kim smelt the awful smell and looked for every passenger sniffed them but stacey was not much concerned abt it. She even didn't know. When the guy, Jon said he isnt the rich guy. We can probably say that he actually murderer the person kept in booth and robbed the car and fleed. On the way he found those girls. Jon couldn't endure more and as soon as he opened booth, Jon killed a girl.another girl escaping from there and coming back to car to run away. And finally she killed Jon. So it is all about how one behaves in unexpected circumstances and small things turns to be extremely big. Thank you blake. Love you.

This is another amazing film i love the most too I just finished watching a film and then went to this film. You can’t please everyone and that’s apparent in these comments. art is subjective. I LOVED the narration. I took it as satire and I found the comedy in it although it still didn’t take the suspense part away from it. Love it !

I loathe your comment. It's contemptible for its lack of intellectual integrity.

Was hooked right from the opening credits! The american narration and comic undertone was clever, giving this another layer and made me feel ever so slightly at ease in the suspense moments! Professional acting and interesting characters, which is so hard to develop in such a short space of time, so kudos to the team!

8:55 to 9:16 has a Geiger Counter sound effect for the tension arc - GREAT IDEA! It keeps getting better and better! Oh man.....

It appears that commentor olivia (and others below) missed Becky's backtalk against the narrator at 10:18. 10:18 *Narrator*: becky frantically searches for the car 10:20 keys to make a quick getaway before the 10:22 men return 10:23 *Becky*, looks directly into camera: you really need to say that -- the audience 10:25 can clearly see what the [ __ ] i'm doing When you watch a Blake Ridder film, you have to pay attention to the details.

Man does not have a penny but produces a film. I liked what you did there at 10:23 😂.

And the mystery still persists, "What was in the trunk?" ...

another great one blake, bit more cryptic to follow compared to some others, but yeah great film. what about maybe a longer episode next? maybe a 20 to 30 min episode ?? doable? or these easier and you prefer these smaller ones?

And this is the one that got me hooked on everything you do and did Just loved it and the others aswell The only thing that spoils things is the bloody adds. Hence why I have not watched t.v for over 30years
