Man imaculent, I respect old mate for keeping the dog bone style rear tail lights, just cause you don't see them that often, & you can see why this thing is an award-winning car, it's even got granny spec Venetian blinds on the back window, he's got a different dash layout to mine, but hey I guess all cars are different to others, get vid Ash much respect to old mate & he's tidy RX2 & for sharing it with us rotor heads. Seriously something I need to look at & try to replicate, IF you get what I mean, awesome job to both owner & ash for sharing bloody awesome content fellas

The further away you can put the turbo the better ! Like a set of tuned length extractor’s or collector with staged pipes let’s pulse phase in high demand and heavy load allow over capacity usage provide peak flow ( let’s put 60psi into this pig and see

How true, these cars were worth not a lot in the day. My RX4 coupe stock i paid $1200 bucks. Parts everywhere at the wreckers, great times in the 80's.

Used to know someone with a violet Capella coupe, lowered with bronze 15" Simmons B45's in the 90's. Had a 2L piston engine but fuck I loved seeing that thing cruising around. Great shape. Nothing wrong with those taillights. I always had issues with the series 3 RX-2 taillights being the ugliest but naturally any hate has been tempered with time. Now any meticulous restoration of a vintage vehicle with character gets my utmost respect. But I wonder how much of it is consideration for the finances invested to arrive at such achievements? Time and patience not to be discounted of course.

Nice to see a mostly og. It was a similar car to this (although it was a manual) that peaked my interest in rotaries when I was young man as I couldn't believe this tiny little car destroyed my then Falcon. 😊

Truckyea and its auto that makes ot even sicker than sick.i picked one up like that but ser4 version in 97 for $150 lol i k1lled it str8away doing skids was 2owners lol from new 1st was nz govt car 2nd was the dude i got it off ahahahaha

There’s nothing like the sound of a 10a or 12a drill only bridge port just a few holes in the right spots doesn’t break or wear strange at all plates are fine and Brap changes with different overlap continually changing with vacuum brrrrrrrrrrrr brr bra Brap Brap brrrrrrrrrrrrrr “””””””””””” oh yeah
