It is in this space of dilemma or indecisiveness several crimes (especially domestic) flourish and go unreported this short film depicts that space....pits both woman on opposite side of this space....Requires courage and an acute sense of Justice to raise your voice.... well done.

Divorcee lady ki aage chalakar kyaa life hoti hai vo tau bhugatane vaali hi jaane. ye lady tau VAKEEL hai apane liye kamaa sakaegi, par samaaj ki bahutayaa streeye.n aatma nirbhar nahin hoti aur ek baar DIVORCEE ka thappa lag gayaa fir tau vo maano sab ke liye "uplabdha cheej " ban jaati hai. she gave divorce to her husband. the story start with divorce papers. Her husband does marital rape after getting drunk. She didnt let him see the divorce papers when he was helping her to find Sakina number. In the end when sakina told her husband has apologized that he wont repeat, she felt helpless at her situation as she also let her husband actions slide with apologies all this while. In the end, she filed the divorce papers and hence took the decision.

Question - is The Case (petition) is to take Divorce (not to go back home) OR against the Rape? Was not clear..its an ok film..i dont think its an awarding winning worth film! but the characterization of the male - is good, his dialogues and gestures clearly show that he is a repeated criminal and he will not stop the act..and he acted very nicely along with the lead actress..nice direction/script..short and crisp..

The lawyer is filing divorce against her husband for martial rape as marital rape isn't a crime in India but it can be used as a ground for divorce. Therefore, she can't file a rape case against her husband, she can only file divorce.

If u listen carefully , the man said he won't drink and "do it" again after which she replied that it wasn't the first time that she was raped by her husband ! This clearly indicated marital rape

वकील का हसबैंड उसको भी शराब पीकर मारता पीटता होगा, अनुमान ये भी की उसकी बिना मर्जी से सेक्स भी करता होगा . तो इस सब के कारण उसने घर जाना छोड़ दिया था। हालांकि वो सोच भी रही थी divorce के बारे में.. लेकिन उसने डिसीशन पेंडिंग छोर रखा था ..... लेकिन जब उस मां बेटी ने अपना केस वापस लेने को कहा.... तो वो शॉक्ड रह गई और ये सब हजम नही कर पाई... तो फिर उसने फाइनली डाइवोर्स पेपर्स रेडी किए और लेकर निकल गई देने को..... क्योंकि मुस्लिम लेडी के पास प्रोब्लम थी की आगे उसके बच्चों का क्या होगा,,, मगर उसके इसके साथ ऐसा नही था।

I guess at the end when she signed the file , It was her filing divorce against her husband. Those bunch of files represent the number of cases that were initially filed but were later taken off just as Sakina did. She filed for divorce to start the chain about taking stand for oneself.

End part should not be left like this!

Innocent victims in one particular community. Feel sorry for all those females.

The ending should be to file a case against her husband. What is the difference between her if she forgives her husband for saying sorry and promising not be repeat in future and Sakina saying her husband has promised not to repeat .She feels bad and helpless as she won’t be able to proceed against Sakina’s husband but she too should have the courage to proceed against her own husband and so she decides. Examples begin with self.

Pl. Consider explaining your script synopsis.
