I used to like watching your videos and I still do. I used to like that office going girl who used to film makeup content in her free time. I could relate to her. You are good Shalini, but sometimes I feel you try so hard to blend with other influencers. I mean is it necessary to wear deep necks, cleavage revealing clothes just to gain subscribers or to be at par with other influencers, or to get PR and event invitations. Can't anyone wear decent clothes and still be an influencer? Can't anyone be an influencer without buying clothes from Zara or other brands.? I wonder. Be what you are shalini, wear what you are comfortable in. A girl can wear a saree like Indira Gandhi and still look bomb if she knows how to carry herself and present herself with confidence. No influencer talks about how important education is or how you gain a position in a male centric society, how to be a Kalpana Chawla or a Kiren Bedi. All the youngsters are just learning how to wear such clothes, put on maekup and make reels.I know I am gonna get hate for this but I have written what I feel. All the best Shalini.

And to be honest in that Sarah x pac cum birthday vlog at one point I felt Sarah ignored her. I dont know maybe they are good friends but I dont get the vibe. Even the Goa vlogs I feel it was just for content. I hope I am wrong. I feel she could have stayed in Bhopal and do the 9 to 5 job and still be a content creator. I have seen influencers showing their work life balance in shorts and gained pretty good views.

Your mentality is wrapped up thinking people dress up for others and not themselves. What was so wrong? It was a full gown covering from top to toe with a flaunting neck line. Kalpana Chawla, Kiren Bedi, Indira Gandhi were in a profession that required simplicity. For every place there is an attire.
