Heads up, just tested the difference between F and S+F for nightmare and only F has the super armor for the beginning animation and S+F does not have super armor at the beginning. I would recommend only using F in this case. (Patch 9th of December Just came out and fixed this bug already, super armor SHOULD apply going background S+F as well)

Don't forget that your awakening i-frame is a block during the swing. Sometimes it's better to just sit there instead of use RMB since you can't get block locked(someone using a skill that hits multiple times and goes through you, trapping you in block). It's also great to sit in because it cancels Blades of Darkness no matter how far you are into the animation. I often awakening i-frame, wait for the CD, Blades, and cancel out of the casting animation with another awakening i-frame.

I do plan to make an awak combo guide that showcases a little bit of cc mechanics but a video about cc mechanics entirely might be something I touch on eventually.

hey kaiju , quick question here iam still new at sorc 3rd day on her , when i try shadow leap into midnight most of the time there a upward slash keep going if i pressed shift lmb quickly do i have to wait untill the full animation of shadow leap to end then go into midnoght stinger ?

So in terms of contrast between 2, currently, succ and awak are around the same in terms of pve, arguably a little more in succ favor. When it comes to 1v1, awak is by far better, although succ may do better in match ups awak struggles in. And group fights, both are great for different recents and playstyle. Awakening are great for untouchable assassins that can sneak multiple kills within a fight. While succ has a lot of frontal and super armor damage that deal tons of damage in a aoe assassin mage style. Awak grind is considered easier and less tense on your hands while some have said succ can be a bit much especially after a couple hours. They both do really well in all categories, so its up to what playstyle you find yourself more comfortable in!

for someone reason it wont let me do rushing crow, it only does flow rushing crow even with amulet out. help please?

If you have flow rushing crow unlocked, your rushing crow will now be permanently rushing crow flow. If you were to un learn the flow rushing crow, it will now only do the regular rushing crow.

i literally can't W+F and SHIFT+LMB without doing a slash at the end of W+F. but if i start that already in awk, it doesnt do the slash and connect midnight stinger quickly. WHYYYY

If you hold lmb, it typically does the slash at the end is what I discovered myself. Try messing with the inputs

Towards the end of the video, I showcased how to bind the ww input to a mouse button of your choice. Originally, pressing w twice allowed you to use night crow(I frame) forward, but if you bind it to something. You can just use that button to go forward without having to press w twice. (Console may work differently)

How do you Night crow without pressing the jump key?

Yup! Except now rushing crow is longer with frontal guard and your i frame in awak is now 1 second cooldown.

Wait this just straight up cant work.... you cant S+LMB RMB unless you LMB attack im trying to learn it right now and its not working Also.... Dark flame makes me jump backwards.......

You have to make sure you have the complete dark flame unlocked, into ultimate dark flame. The dark flame is a very key input timing specific thing to pull off. And if dark flame pulls you back, it means you do not have ultimate dark flame. If you do, you should be able to hold s lmb rmb all the way for it to continue the full animation.

@@Therealkaiju Ahhhhh I see, im still new to this game and dont really know what im doing yet. I'm only level 57 with 857 skill points so that makes sense. I was watching this in hopes of speeding up my silver grind so that I could make more than 3.2M/hr at Cadry's.

nightmare S+F is unprotected isnt it.

That’s why you use your lingering frontal and super armor mixed with I frames. It has the same protection sorc always had, if you want full protection, succ nova is your gal.

@@Therealkaiju i do this combo to preserve my stamina ? with1 skill protected !! idk but its useless cuz most of time in 1v1 i have enough stamina till the end of fight !! in war pvp perhaps , in my opinion sorcc need to bee full i-frame

@@MOKRANI777 it’s possible but not entirely, if you fight the right classes that allow you to play tempo, you’re good, stamina management and protection is not bad. But face a ninja or hash, (a good one) they can pressure us sorcs and force us to use a lot more stamina. So it all just depends on what class you’re fighting imo. Sorc def doesn’t run out of Stamina going against certain classes for sure. Full I frame is tricky, maybe 70-80% in I frame, that’s more reasonable.
