This won't work in Amsterdam. The basket will get stolen off the bike in no time. Is there a way to lock it securely to the bike with a key when I leave the key outside?

Hi, thank you for the input. We're actually working on a lockable solution right now which is expected to be on the market within a few months. It will be compatible with all AVS accessories so if you already have a bag or basket it'll work with the lock system as well.

@@atranvelo thank you for your reply. This will indeed be a must-have here in Amsterdam. So the lock system will be an extra? How much will it cost? Do you plan on also releasing a basket that already includes the lock? I don't have one yet and would go for the solution with the built-in lock straight away.

@@vjmacc No worries! We are a small team so our apologies for not replying sooner. We still have some details to figure out before we unveil anything but we'll do our best to keep you posted. Best, AtranVelo

No worries... is there an ETA or when such basket or additional lock will be out? This is the only thing that's keeping me from buying the Cortina Common bike right now that uses your AVS system.
