I'm so astonished, he and many of his fellow soldiers made it out, and were actually returned. What amazing sacrifice they made in Azovstal, the medics especially being so resourceful with so little. We were all watching and praying for them. For the many thousands who died in Mariupol, may you rest in peace and be avenged. Such a tragedy that this Russian mindset continues to stain our world. It isn't good for anyone. Much admiration and sorrow from the USA, please prevail and keep up the hope!

What a dramatic cataclysm for those in Mariupol, and those brave Ukrainians who fought in the last stronghold of the steel plant. Wow, another outstanding report from Hromadske. What extraordinary and impressive people you have.

The positivity, optimism, strength and cheerfulness of this young guy is amazing. He is a force of nature. He has seen such immense loss. Fighting at Azovstal for months and then to be ordered to surrender, surviving months in captivity. Then to lose another 50 or so in a bomb attack at Olenivka. I don't know if it's his faith that keeps him going, but he is made of some incredibly strong stuff. The Ukrainian men of this generation are truly incredible. Glory to the heroes. It is humbling to watch.

This interview delivers a very good insight into the tragedy of Mariupol and the fight in the Asks steel plant and the assault on the POW,s later. And it's so important that the whole world knows what hadhappened Thank you for the subtitles!

Those last few minutes in the car...... it's as if I was hearing my dad. He would have been 100 last Christmas.

For this Hero and the many many more not shown in the video, for all Ukrainian's looking for democracy, for every child that has experienced bombings and living in basements, for every citizen who have lost their homes I pray for total victory and I pray for a long peace in Ukraine once this terrible terrorist activity is over. @@alekc918 Characterizing Ukrainians as "nazis" is just the one thing russia can do to justify their crimes in Ukraine. And sadly it seems there are enough idiots in russia that actually believe they are "liberators", saving Ukrainians from "nazis". It's tragic & pathetic. Having national pride is a good thing. Don't twist the facts. Slava patriots all over the world that value freedom. And Slava Ukraini!!!

How the Major can go through so much and still hold a positive, well reasoned outlook is encouraging that Ukraine's fighters will survive this, will be able to get the support to come through this horror of a "special military operation". The Ukrainians are a strong people worth a great deal of respect and support by all European nations if not the whole world. They deserve to be aided in full to recover their sovereign integrity. I will continue donating to Mozart Group's humanitarian efforts and to Operator Starsky's drone purchases.

Amazing video. I pray for the Ukrainian people everyday. Here in Canada I have met many Ukrainians in my life and always liked them very much. I have no idea how your struggle will end and there are so many moving parts that anyone that says they this or that will happen is a liar. Never forget.....Jesus promises us a light for our next foot step and that's it. True faith is believing that. Keep moving forward!!!!!
