Very helpful, thank you. As one who has come through the cage stage, converted in my 50's from a history of harsh, unbiblical Catholic indoctrination, I think this unbalanced behavior in new believers stems from an unbalanced understanding of our Savior's heart, and the depth of God's mercy. The Spirit is now bringing me into a better understanding of the gentle heart of Christ, and what His easy yoke truly looks like in day to day life. Head knowledge of the love of God towards sinners is different than it being a reality in one's heart, and thus the impetus for every day thoughts and action.

Very helpful. Thank you G3 for sharing this. A short time ago I was heading down the "cage stage" trail. Thankfully the Lord directed me to a better way. 😄

Agree with the hosts, a new Believer has to be intensively “convinced” to become a follower of Calvin, because being convicted by Jesus’ words (they are Spirit and they are life), is not enough for salvation.

Y’all need to start preaching to women and stop blaming men for all the worlds problem. Men are accountable we know that but you male preachers have failed women and allowed the feminist spirit in the church

I agree somewhat. There are times to "blame" women and most times men are to blame. But men are called to a higher calling by scripture. It's like blaming the members of the church for bad doctrine entering the church and not confronting the pastor for allowing bad doctrine in the church. The head is always to blame for most (not all) situations and issues. Wives and Husbands Eph. 5: 23-24 23. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

@@dsanders74 yes my brother all us Godly men know are accountability it’s preached however the role and accountability of women in marriage is sugar coated preachers are marrying women who don’t submit to a Godly men and they decide if he’s Godly are not. Black Male preachers are the worst at this so is the black family my generation of preachers growing up preach the role of women. You would agree there’s no feminist in heaven they need to tell women that and God has no mother and he made man in his image to lead if you get married if you can’t submit then don’t get married it’s that simple and the woman is the weakest vessel n never can be a man that’s the problem of the church

For interest sake, 'if the Word says, there is nothing new under the sun', where does it talk about a feminist spirit?
