@@PlamiD people are so different, I personally like to just hang out in parks and cafes and take it easy while others like to keep more busy and do the whale watching stuff. Not that it's not interesting, but I wouldn't necessarily plan stuff like that on my own. Maybe it's not about the money, people get enjoyment from different things :) For me the simple stuff is the most fulfilling, maybe it's the same for her

i think it feels like “last person on earth” editing because she doesnt show herself interacting with anyone else usually, it feels like shes just talking and paying attention to us rather than any other external social thing, as selfish as it is, thats why i love it so much.

Emma has taught me that it is perfectly fine spending an entire day or week just laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. It's something I didn't know I was allowed to do until she showed me that it's perfectly fine and healthy to do so. Also that you can enjoy life and love yourself without having a big fancy loud life with a million people around you. She really is someone that we all need it our life. Thanks Emma

I was talking about how she has taught myself and other about how being by yourself, doing nothing/stupid shit, and just laying in bed for even a small amount of time is essential to recharge and feel better. It’s impossible for normal people to do what she does. Jetting around the world without a care, just going where she pleases. It must be nice to be a multimillionaire at 20 and do whatever you want. I’m not hating at all, I like her videos, but it’s impossible to lay in bed for a week or do nothing etc when you have to work 50+ hours a week to pay bills.

I remember her going back to her home because she wasn't having fun on her own in a hotel, was scared to use the pool because she didn't have any friends with her. u've grown so much emma chamberlain.

Why not be a bit of a vagabond and live in various places for a month or more. So many great places to explore in this country and of course the world. Spontaneous travel can be fun.

@amysmyth Because we’re an island 😂 Island Time is a notion that people who live on islands (smaller places) have a laid back attitude towards time and everything in general (“down the road” can literally be any distance at all. “the other day” might have been three months ago- who knows but it’s not relevant to the story I’m telling 😂. “It’ll be grand” “Sure look!”). I only draw the comparison to Ireland coz she’s 50% Irish but she’s also Californian. I’d say big cities like LA are just too constantly stimulating and she probably needs a more chill environment but be able to access the fun of them all the same.

emma. i live in boston and here’s where you NEED to hit up: 1. The Druid (an irish pub in Cambridge) they’ll let you in even though you’re not 21 2. Charles River Coffee House in Natick. it’s my favorite coffee spot with a beautiful park to sit at. 3. Any farmers market 4. All the art museums are great. 5. Downstairs at Feltons is a great antique shop 6. La Taqueria in Waltham has the best mexican food

I like the way she travels. Yes , the tourist spots are nice diversion but just to exist in a new environment is also deeply satisfying. Well to me it seems. Plus I would check out a whole foods or grocery store in a different city ,like why the fuck not? To me, it's another form of people watching and seeing what they are buying locally.

@@Danche96X3 I feel like that’s more of a conscious decision. She’s recently completely changed her aesthetic to a lot more relaxed and chilled and she seems pretty set on it, I think that’s why she films herself doing mundane things and not “living the life” cause it fits the vibe. It wouldn’t make sense if she was super upbeat and hyper and I think she’s quite aware of that.

Why do people that live in LA hate LA so much? I'm really working to make my way to LA but hearing all the people hating on LA is making me re-think my decision...

it's been 2 years since i've watched emma and seeing her like this is so different. but i love it.

there's something about emma's vibe, that i just love.

If you`re looking for another place to travel I highly recommend Victoria Canada. Its gorgeous, there are many organic stores, there is a butterfly garden, and this flowers garden place that I forgot the name of. You can ride in a carriage with horses and there are wild peacocks and peahens everywhere.

I love how even tho she’s a public figure she just lives her life the way she wants without caring what ppl think of her and that makes her so real and relatable

Okay Emma Hear me out pls: So you have a 4 million dollar house in LA, sell that house you are so young! Buy a Condo in LA for 2 million still get that young feeling of living in an apartment/condo penthouse whatever the case is Then buy a 2 million dollar apartment in NYC, so you live in each location for as long as you want. You travel so much to Europe being in NYC part time may be great for you so you can just hop on a flight and be 5 hours away from London At the end of the day you are a fashion influencer, so having that extra NYC apartment will give you extra space for clothes, stylists to come and for brands to send you PR and clothes. Lol I hope you read this!

I think this is a great idea. Even if she doesn't buy an apartment in NY, ditch that 4 mill house in LA, however, it will only increase in value as she gets older and if she has the cash I now say keep it. Lease a place in NY for awhile then buy. 2 mill in NY would get her a cracker box, but a really nice one. But overall, I love the idea of having two locations. West and East. And for young people, yes, she is an influencer for sure. If I were younger I would take a lot of her advise. xoxo
