Matt, your story about the issues with talking to the homeowner about coverages, is why carriers don’t wan the field adjusters saying anything. I know you know this, so this is for the new adjusters, refer the insured to the desk adjuster.

I just passed my Florida DHS and this channel has really helped me with my career planning. I do have a related question regarding California. I know it isn't reciprocal with Florida, but you can not even get a license there without 2 years experience at all?

Matt does a video on this and they have been more lax on what they consider adjusting experience in the past. I'd submit your resume with 2 years of continuous job experience and you may be fine

How do I go about getting my reciprocal licenses to other states? I have my TX home state license, but I thought I could go to the Sircon- site and apply for other multiple licenses at once and pay the associated fees.

You can apply for most through Sricon and/or NIPR. NIPR usually has less fees.

You kinda need to go to both nipr.com and sircon.com since I think there are a couple of states that aren't available on both platforms (could be Oklahoma? I'm not sure).
