If you are a member of ADAC (Automobilclub Deutschland), you can have a used car check carried out at ADAC stations for 79 EUR. They check brakes, lighting and engine performance. The result will also tell you whether expensive repairs are to be expected for this car in the future. Becoming an ADAC member charges you 54 EUR / year. The services include a nationwide 24/7 breakdown and towing service, recently also for bicycles. In addition, initial legal advice. If you depend on your car and drive regularly, this can be worthwhile.

Great tip! Thanks for the help 😁
I would add some: don't buy diesel car, because they are not allowed in big cities, also buy from diler, cause you will get 1 year warranty. It's mandatory. You not getting warranty from private owner
I prefer manual cars becaause they are better for good reactional driving. Buy well maintened used cars with checkbook from serious people
I’m the same as you looking for automatic , takes me 3 months
What’s with the discounted EU imported cars like at Tabor Autohaus? Are there downsides?
