PCC is only valid for 6 months and after that you have to apply again

If you don’t live in India you need to apply via Indian embassy in the country you are living currently

hey, I applied for pCC few days ago, my police verification is done but in my application form the purpose of pcc was missing. In my appointment letter too its missing,However, In psk when i visited i told them to make this correction but even after that the purpose of pcc was missing on the form which i got (later it was taken back by police officer) i wanna know is there any issue ?

Hi If the process is going on then I dont think there is any problem but yes just to be sure you can visit the passport seva kendra and at the enquiry counter you can enter and ask

Recently i got my PCC and it is written Stamp of the Office of Issue what is the exact meaning and where do i get those stamp ?? Yiu help will really appreciated

It is the stamp from the office that issued it. Now you need to get an apostille stamp at the back of this document

I am not sure about Hungary but in Spain and Portugal they only ask for passport. It already tells your birth date so the certificate isn’t necessary

I would recommend to do it from your permanent address. As the address in your Passport will be the one used in PCC. Also, if you have changed your address, you first need to update your passport with it

For address change you don't need to change on passport, you can use Electricity/water bill as a proof of residence. Please refer to the document advisory on Passport Seva website

You don’t need to update it anymore. You can take your passport, contract of the house or some bills in your name and apply for pcc without changing your address on the passport
