The easiest way to dry out an avocado seed is to grate it and pour it into an open bowl. It will dry in 2 to 3 days. We use this method for many years. Be aware of your blood sugar levels when you started using this because it can lower your blood sugar levels quickly. One tablespoon of grated seed is enough to make 2 to 3 cups of tea and then you drink this through the day. It drops your blood sugar level very quickly. We are living in the deep Kalahari Desert in Namibia and avocado is very expensive but an important fruit when you are not every day in town to go to the doctor or grocery store. All my thanks to Ryan. Now I know more about this incredible fruit.

Can I consume avocado seed if I already have low blood sugar levels? I want to take it for the heart benefits but my blood sugar levels are consistently low.

*Hi Ryan... Just a question* *Just shy of 5 mins in* ... You talk about how Polyunsaturated Fats of the Avocado are good for heart health... *I've always been under the impression from my own studies, that it's the Monounsaturated Fats of Avacado's that are good for heart health, rather than Polyunsaturated Fats* I'm just wondering if this was a mistake when you may have made when compiling the slide show that goes along with your narration, or it is something you earnestly believe? *Thanks Ryan, love the video and would also love some feedback* Lee :o)

Hi Lee, you are correct in your assertion that most of the benefits come from the monounsaturated fats in avocados, this was a typo. However they do contain some polyunsaturated fats also that are in the correct ratio as to be helpful to the body. Well spotted, thank you 🙏

@@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies Thanks for getting back to me :) [ I thought it may have been a typo and you just were reading what was on each slide, but wanted to ask you. ] & yes I agree Avo's do have both poly/mono, although the mono I thought was more health giving than the polys, but they all have their place in our diets, we just need to ingest more of some than others for healthier bodies/minds & spirits. Thanks again. Have a great week ahead Ryan. :o)

I'm sure in order for this to be true one must find wild avocados void of genetic modification and nutrient dilution. Don't expect your local avocados from the supermarket or farmers market to deliver the same benefits.

@@bounchofbeaners1868 I think what *Waimea* is saying is: Store bought avo's probably are devoid of a lot of the required nutrients, simply because the farm's soils they are grown in now days are depleated of the natural soil nutrition required to give a fully nutrient dense fruit hence *possibly* wouldn't be able to give the same health properties as say an avocado tree that is wild grown. [ *OR grown in a permaculture type of environment as well as organically* ] It is well known, especially so of the last 20 years ore more that the soil where most of our foods are grown is nutrient depleted, as well as chemical fertilisers are used, which in itself is bad, but then factor in some of those chemicals also *LOCK UP* some of the nutrients that do exist in the soil so as they aren't available to the plants/microbes what so ever...!!! *Wild Grown* on the other hand, is usually grown in soils which are NOT depleted of nutrition, have not been touched by man for farming and basically in their own little organic/permaculture environment. They have usually also suffered hardships along the way, which in turn will produce a *more nutrient dense pot of gold* in the end product. It may not look as pretty and perfect as the store bought avocado's but the contents will give you more untold health benefits than any store bought avo. *The Closest you will get to Wild Grown* though, would be avocado's grown in an *organic/permaculture* style of farming, which is the closest to wild grown you can get. Via this method you would get a wonderfully rich health giving specimen and possibly even a pot of gold to boot...! ;o) *That's all GMO aside of course* ... IF the plant/tree is a GMO product, then you'd never want to eat them at all... Everyone should be saying *NO to GMO ... Forever more* *Just before Monsanto got sold to Bayer* ... I've read an article about how they got the go ahead to make 100 of our everyday foods we eat all around the world into *GMO products* ...!!! Does that NOW mean *BAYER* will be continuing on where *Monsanto left off* or have they *stopped it from happening* is the *BIG QUESTION* ...??? Lee

@@ljdicko7111 while i agree GMOs are bad for health and should be avoided at all costs. i disagree that the soil is "nutrient defficient" if the soil was so then no seed will grow.. because every type of seed needs nutrients in the soil to sucesfully grow and produce fruit..... every time it rains it catches nutrients AND "pollutants" in the air and gets absorbed into the soil once absorbed bacteria and fungus breaks down said nutrients and politants so it can be bioavailable to the plant...IF there is too much of a single pollutant like lead or arsenic then NO plant will grow in the area at all. the whole area would need to be dug out and diluted with more bioavailable nutrients for plants (which can be done)... now if pesticides and fungicides are sprayed on the fruit (not organic)then that can lead to less absorbtion of the nutrients IN YOUR GUT when you injest the the skin of the fruit with pesticides /fungicides because it kills off your gut biome without your gut biome you will not ge able to convert any nutrient from the fruit into bioavailable vitimins, protines, and amino acids which are all essential to health. this is why you should never eat the skin if it is not organic. the ONLY way the fruit ITSELF can be "nutrient defficient" is it was bread to have another nutrient over another. it really has nothing to do with the soil. like breeding a certant fruit over many generations to produce sweeter fruit which means it has a higher fructose level and less of the other nutrients..but breeding can be done in the opposite like breeding a fruit to have more nutrients but be less tasty and sweet and more bitter.. as well as sise. like how a wolf was bread over many generations into a Dutch hound... lol..... they are still canines and can still reproduce with eachother. or like how us humans have different skin colors some are taller than others but we can all reproduce with eachother.

Yes. Make your own seed powder though. Grate it when it's still fresh. And dry it for some days. Then blend into powder. A teaspoon twice a day in hot water as tea should do.
