I do understand your point brother. Everyone has the right to live. My heartfelt condolences to all the people who lost their lives. But I have presented facts that say that the animal was not associated with all the killings. Yes, I agree that she had lost the fear towards us but was not a complete man-eater. Both the parties were not at fault. The forest department & the state government were at fault. 🙏

Yes, what the law has said is right but brother the protocols that were followed by the hunters were against the law. I have mentioned the points which prove that Avni's killing was not genuine. The honorable Supreme Court had given the order to shoot her but even then first it had stated in it's last order also that if the tigress is not tranquilized or the after-effects of the sedation mixture make her go blizzard & attack humans then in self-defense you can shoot the animal. Avni was forced to come out by the urine & the pheromones that were sprayed on the trees. Who does this kind of stuff? This hunter & his son are the real killers. I'm sorry brother if you are from the hunter's side my verdict will not change.

Well she started to defy the laws, the laws that are not set by nature but by humans. She should have been put in a rehab, but we cannot even imagine or feel the horrors and pain of the people living under those circumstances. There are so many factors to be considered here. We simply cannot decide. But a sigh of relief for those people.

I understand the feelings of the villagers I have witnessed a lot of man-animal conflicts. The feelings of the people are the same everywhere. She should have been tranquilized easily. When we broke the laws of the jungle & shot her that time we became heroes. I think how Avni was shot was an act of cowardice. Well she is no more at least now we can let her rest in peace. 🙏😞

"Avni was shot in the dark" Tigers are better in dark. Jungle main rules follow krna bohot mushkil hota hai, ab tiger agar night mai spot hoga toh operation bhi raat mai hi krna padega na, subheh tk toh wo bhaag jaayega. Jis jungle mai 2-3 hours survive krna mushkil hota hai waha days tk baith ke tracking krna aur operatiom chalana bohot muskil baat hai. After killing avni, tiger related deaths have significantly decreased in the area. It is proof enough that Avni was a maneater. Maneater aur regular tiger mai bs itna farak hota hai ki maneaters human ko bhi as a food source dekhte hai, maneaters regular animals ka bhi hunt kr skte hain.

According to the NTCA guidelines no one is allowed to shoot a tiger at night. The hunters broke the protocol & shot her. Also, no vet was present during the operation which is mandatory. Plus I have stated some important reasons regarding the pheromones used to attract the cat. A good tracker would have not taken so many years to tranquilize her.

​@@ONEMILEATATIME02 no doubt the forest department was incompetent to handle the matter by themselves, otherwise there was no need to heir private hunters, the animal never stays at a same place in the forest and especially tigers are known to travel a large a distance which is the reason why tracking a tiger is a mammoth task and even if you are able to track the animal, tranquilising or hunting it is whole another ballgame. I've heard many stories in which despite having hunting rifles with them, the hunters could not shoot at the the tiger because its roar stunned them resulting in loss of human life. There are many other reasons also which contribute to the failure of the hunt. In these type of situations, thinking about properly following the guideline and protocols given by the government is not plausible and instantaneous steps have to be taken by the people responsible if the government really wants to help people otherwise there would be no end to the terror resulting in either mass displacement of people living at these places or them taking situation in their own hands which would've been far more disasterous. I think the hunters did what was needed to be done for the welfare of human lives.

Thank you for appreciating the vlog 🙏. The human killings stopped four months before Avni was killed. A confirmed maneater or a conflict tiger will not stop killing. Also when Avni's body was dissected there were no human remains that were retrieved.

It definetly seems to be a hunting practice under the cover of tranquillizing and capturing an animal. The story of the newbie hunter doesn't match and support what is found and analysed in postmortem. It seems that many things were planted to show avani (T1) as a man eater and just that to shoot it (may be). I think there should have been an serious investigation on what could have happened and they shouldn't just trust a newbie "hunter" on what was happened.

I am also a wildlife follower with lot of love towards animals, however in this case I have a non biased opinion. Its very easy to live in metro cities and stand with a PLACARD & run a protest where you are safe & far away from Jungles. But to understand the fear, frustration & agony of the people living around jungles, one needs to live in the jungles and observe the challenges people over there face every day. And their side has to be given more weightage because they are the ones facing the situation, not the ones who are in safe & civilised cities that are far away from the jungles. Imagine how would you deal with a situation if for some reason, you are scared to go to your washroom every single day. Imagine for some reason if you are feared to step out of the house to go to your office every single day. The protesters have never experienced that fear, frustration & despair which the villagers deal with since years. These same people, if they see even a cockroach in their house, they will kill it with a HIT spray, because thats our natural human instinct. These same people will put the Placards in the bags and support to kill the Tiger if they ever lose a family member in such a conflict. The anger of people living in the jungle areas also needs to be understood. What ever happened has happened, So the debate & investigation here should not be about who is right or wrong, rather, it should be how to avoid such incidences in future. Then only, we can save many Avani’s to be killed like this in future because the conflict is only going to increase in next 10-15 years due to rapid urbanisation. A futuristic approach should be adopted to avoid such incidences in times to come.

Yes, I can very well explain it. Ok, it's a simple thing before Avni was shot 3 months before her death she had stopped consuming any type of food. The postmortem clearly stated that her stomach was found empty & there were no human remains in her body. A Man-Eater will never stop killing humans.

Thanks for expressing your feelings Yash bhai. What happened with Avni is disgusting. A military operation is not supposed to be carried out to neutralize a tiger 😡. I mean the hunter's son shot his first tiger & that too a man-eater according to him I just can't get over this.

Dhruv bro, I would recommend you to read Shafat Ali Khan's book on Avni. The NGOs were dog-wistling against him. In the book, he describes all the circumstances which led to the demise of T1 aka Avni. When we read and hear about such incidents regarding an animal which is supposed to be the most protected and beloved to us, we tend to fall in the trap of fallacy by giving knee-jerk reactions. The book really opened my mind regarding the conservation of wild animals and their balance in the nature.

Jauhar Bhai how are you? Honestly, I'm not a fan of any hunter except for Corbett Sahab. The hunter I'm sure must have explained his side of the story in the book but what about how Avni was killed? @@ONEMILEATATIME02 I'm good Bhai! It's pretty common for us to be skeptical of someone who proclaims to be a hunter because we think of them as detrimental to the fauna of the jungle. But there is a slight difference between a 'Hunter' and a 'Poacher'. The term 'Hunter' in modern day and age is someone who is mostly assigned to kill an animal which is creating an imbalance in the food chain. Meanwhile, a 'Poacher' is someone who has no respect for the environment, wildlife and is a selfish bounty hunter. Poachers are the reason that we lost so many tigers from the world. Avni's case was easy fodder for the NGOs who had previously road blocked some of Shafat Ali Khan's assignments. One thing is for sure, that T1 was killing humans which is considered as change of disposition of the animal. And the action was taken. And we have seen that Maneaters are then put into zoos and enclosures but their psychology for humans remains same. And still people demand them to be freed and again the cycle repeats.

We recently saw in Bihar's Bagaha how the tiger went rogue and was selectively hunting humans even he was physically fine. And you must have seen how some celebrities still reacted to it. Randeep Hooda was one of them, he was angry and protested on social media that tiger shouldn't be killed. And on the other side, we also saw the furore and anger among people of the village who lost their loved ones to that Maneater. They were so angry that they were trying to mutilate the dead body of the tiger. So, we or any person who wasn't effected by a Maneater can't comprehend with the feelings of those people. The conclusion is in order to protect our wildlife, we sometimes ignore the humans. But human life should be paramount over any wildlife. Afterall it's we who are and will conserve our environment.

These people who are protesting if they would loose someone among their families thn

Once again very well covered brother . The best part is you have spoken on facts. Firstly no animal becomes a man eater by choice. Whether it is a man animal conflict , or animal loosing the natural ability to hunt due to the bad shot, there are always valid reasons for any animal to attack on humans and humans play a major part in such cases. This is what I believe in. Now specifically talking about this case , based on all the reports and facts it's crystal clear that it was a planned shoot . There was no intention seen to save the Tigress by tranquilizing on the first go. And who is this so called Nawab. Were the forest officials and Task forces not efficient enough to handle this case that they had to include a private hunter who obviously looked more interested in raising his numbers by killing the Tigress . Pitaji ka pata nahi bete ne shikar khel diya shauk ke liye. Serious investigation should be done against this man and should be well punished if found guilty which seems to be the case after analyzing the facts. Once again kudos to you for covering another meaningful and interesting content.

I hope I kept all the facts in front of you all brother. 🙏 Now coming to the shikari gang. I mean it's ridiculous, the father himself said that my son shot his first tiger who was so-called a maneater. Kuch bhi bolte hein yaar. The facts have cleared everything. However, if they try to justify themselves they will remain killers in my eyes. In this entire case, the Supreme Courts' verdict was used as the biggest weapon. The hunters violated the court's order. 😞

First of all you people had guns so there was no point being scared and then the way the hunter said he tried to save the animal, it could be seen once ,some scratches of the missed tranqulizer, the tone the hunter used is clearly showing that he is trying to taunt the animal lovers, whatever he has done is a sin and I wish he will be punished by lord.

Hi Dhruv.. Whatever happened with Avni was totally wrong..Ntca guidelines ki to dhajiyan uda di, not even a single protocol followed.. It was more like poaching as an unauthorised civilian killed her.. And as per the postmortem report if she was not facing the vehicle then at what was it charging at on wind? Ridiculous..My only opinion is she should have been relocated there was absolutely no need to kill her🙏 I appreciate your efforts for justice for Avni 👍 Would like to see guilty punished by law.

Hi Nidhi, firstly a big thank you to all of you guys who wanted to hear Avni's story. Secondly thank you for supporting & backing me on this subject. Yes, all the protocols were broken. The person who shot her was not authorized to shoot. His father was authorized. I respect the supreme court's verdict of course facts must have been presented in front of the judge as well. I'm against the hunters & the way all this was picturized. I hope my facts have justified Avni's shootout. Thank you for everything guys, you people are my strength. Love you all 🤗🙏

The Indian government has done a great job in the field of tiger conservation. The credit also goes to NTCA, WWF & also various foundations in the country that have worked day & night in saving our national animal. We still have a long way to go & besides tigers, we also have to save other animals.

“Until the lion or tiger learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter.” 😢We humans are really cruel sir, i know human life is important but how someone can just shoot the tigress without even tranquilizing. Forest authority ne permission kese di us hunter ko rat me jane ke liye. This was a pre planned murder just to show how brave the hunter's son was and how he saved the people of that area from a tigress. Un do bachoo ka kya hua ab kaha hai vo.? And again i want to thank you for making this vlog i was desperately waiting to know what happened to avni.

Yes, Chinmay you are right. It was all planned. The NTCA protocols were not followed. The Supreme Court's verdict was the most important weapon that they had, but even the apex court suggested the forest dept to tranquilize Avni first & later if she attacked then you have the right to shoot her.

The cubs were sent to Gorwade rescue center in Nagpur where Avni's post mortem was conducted & we're kept in captivity for some time. Just got to know a few days back that one of them expired.

Bhai aap ne video theek se nahi dekha hai. Mere kehne pe koi muavza nahi mil sakta. Jab tak post mortem report yeh baat sabit nahi karti hai ke insan ko tiger ya leopard ne mara hai tab tak koi muavza nahi milega. 13 log mare the jinmein se sirf 3 logon ka post mortem hua tha. Kisi bhi marne walon ke parivar ko govt ki taraf se ya van vibhag ki taraf se koi muavza nahi milla. Abh aap ispe toh kuch nahi bologe par haan main jo sach ke aadhar pe facts rakhe hein unhe aap nazar andaaz karenge. Maine jab apna verdict diya tha toh clearly yeh bola tha ke gaonwalon ko baghin ke qahar se bachana zaroori hai. This was my verdict's first point. Tumne theek se vlog dekha he nahi toh main kya boloon.

Private shooters should never be involved in this..I agree..but un villagers k baare me bhi sochiye jo itne lambe samay se suffer kr rahe they.Their crops,there pet animals.if avni was not a proper man eater, then why villagers didnt raise voice in favour of avni. but the forest department in this case was disgusting. Rao Sir how are you. Thank you for expressing your opinion, sir. I would surely like to answer your question regarding the villagers. Sir, I respect human life as much as I respect an animal's life. I did not say once that humans should pay the price. I stand by the supreme court's verdict of shooting her. I am just against the way Avni was killed. I have seen man-animal conflict a lot of times. If the animal becomes a man-eater & is not getting captured then the only option left for the forest department is to neutralize him/her and yes I do agree with this point but before that, the process to tranquilize the animal should also be done. 🙏

Avni was a man eater many camera footage has record it while tracking her she stopped attacking villagers for a while because of her new born cub and forest officers was repeatedly failed to shoot her in because she start coming out in night . Death of 14villagers is not a joke the officials who was at ground known how much difficult it was they are also animal lover so after many deaths and they decided to kill .Making tiger unconscious is not a easy task in a forest .Man eater is man eater I think after 4to5 death they should have done it.
