Top review mate, good how you’ve shown how much room there is inside with your actual gear in. So many reviews on here are empty bivvys or brollys 👍🏻

Thanks mate i agree, i think its better to have your gear in as you get a better prospect as to the actual size to how small or how big it actually is as it can be misleading.

How’s your support system mate? Some of the cam locks on mine are going already only had it up around six times

Great review. Can I check: does the inner dome have its own ground sheet? If not does the ground sheet clip in?

Thanks mate, no the ground sheet is seperate from the inner dome and clips in, memory serves me well one clip at the back two each side and i think two at the front .

@@tonydalton1110 yes cause you have a flap around the bivvy and the ground sheet lays over it, so yeah its fairly sealed.

Hi mate thanks for the review! Do you think two 80cm wide and 200cm long bed chairs would fit in there front to back either side of the door leaving a gap in the middle to the door (like how a 2 man bivvy is set up)? I don’t want the 2 man bivvy as too big for the pegs where I fish it’s just for odd nights the misses comes with me! Any help would be much appreciated, tight lines 🎣. Ben

Hello to be honest i don't know, side by side 2man style you might get away with as it is wide, but length ways might be a struggle. I personally don't think they will, if you took the front door section (zipped off completely) you would be prone to elements of the weather and limited space for kettle etc, sorry if this is not much help but I've never tried it to be fair.

Im impressed with it cheapest I’ve seen it is 449 i take it being called duel layer the inter netting comes as standard no extras to buy Also just out of interest because of the large gap between to poles does the fabric collapse in on strong wind ? Or is it stable

@@davgle05 hi it comes with all...ground sheet inner mesh and three door options. It is sturdy in wind and if tighten all bars you shouldn't sag in the middle so in theory no water laying in a puddle in the middle at the top like i have seen on others should just run off.

I like the flat sides where the bars are spread apart as I always have my bed chair at the front and all my gear at the back that way you don’t fall all over your gear getting out the door on a run lol only thing I have at the front is a table with the iPad on

Yes you can...once the inner dome/ mesh is installed it packs away as normal...no need to remove it then replace...its there ready for next session

This or the Nash Titan T2? Anyone seen or experienced both? What type of groundsheet does this have, zip in or peg down? I like the ideal of an inner mesh capsule with the Titan T2

I don't know about the titan apart from the price.But the avid comes complete with all (no extra purchases needed). The ground sheet is a heavy duty durastop and has no zip or velcro it comes with clips one at the back and two either side. The fact the vent at the back is multi choice to how you want it in the summer is up to, this is my choice and i don't regret it. But choice is up to you, pending on your budget.

Hi mate i do still use it more for longer sessions and its still going strong, ive no issues with it and im still pleased with it.

Hi. I have just brought the same bivvy, the groundsheet however only as 2 toggles on it both on 1 side. The bivvy itself has toggles all the way around. Am sure I have a dud groundsheet. Cheers

hi steven by the sounds of it you have a faulty ground, sheet i have just had a look at mine (forget full memory), you should have 5 toggles, have you taken it back or contacted the place you got it from? if not contact avid them selves they may or should send you a another one with toggles on it lol.

@@Glynnyboy2 I contacted avid who told me I needed to contact place I brought it from (Danson Angling). Contacted them but not heard anything yet. Will contact them again next week. If they don't sort out replacement I will return for a refund.

yes i still use it and i do rate it, if I'm honest its the best bivvy i have ever owned, and trust me i have had a few in my time lol👍

Hi Steven i don't see any reason why not, i have the benchmark sleep system(not the lite version) and i have plenty of room head to toe with a gap either end. The x system is only a little bit wider and in the hq duel layer you'll have no problem with space, so i will yes you should be fine, i hope this is helpful many thanks.
