Such a talent, supremely gifted, pretty sad how money wasn’t enough to give him peace and happiness. I suppose everyone can be driven to the edge and his schedule was pretty intense. Life is short and to call it a day at his age is of course tragic. Definitely made his mark on the world if that’s any consolation. X

Avicii music just hits different, always a deep meaning behind his songs that we can all relate too. I feel the ones who leave us early are just hyper aware of the societal structures we're all forced into and cannot handle it and understandably so. His music made a massive impact, I always remember loving this song as a teenager and it began my motivation to try my hardest to not be trapped in an office job like this women was. I work remotely currently and I love the freedom of it. Avicii's impact and music will forever live on x

@@scamp4 I would much rather work from anywhere in the world doing social media marketing, I do not have to deal with the public on a daily basis to pay my bills. The team I work for is nice, so it's not stressful at all. Easy work for me. For me this is the closest thing to being free. Reality is you need to put some hard work in life, and you need to make money. Try figure out a way you can do that that's best for you.

This week, I made a huge decision in my life. I left a job that caused me a lot of stress. I had severe depression and anxiety. Now, I feel free and so happy. I felt like crying because of how much better I felt, and now I can spend more time planning a future I actually want.

Sadist guy: NOONE ASKED AND NOONE CARES!
I felt this way back in 2016. I quit my job and started working for myself. I now have more time for myself while making more money. Break free. Only you can free yourself.
This song is so true in what it means. We only got one short life to live (shorter for some of us unfortunately…) so we got to keep our freedom as much as we can !!! Peace to your soul little brother Avicii…
Rest in peace, legend..

Great song and a reflection of the existential crisis we sometimes feel, from time to time. But what makes me really sad is knowing that Avicii took his own life and therefore this song might be a reflection of the unbearable pain he might had felt inside. R.I.P Avicii. You'll always be remembered.

That’s definitely what this song is about. “I can be the one to make you feel that way, I can be the one to set you free” It’s not a love song. It’s a metaphor basically saying that his music is an escape from society and the stress of every day life. I just wish someone could have given him that feeling of escape like he did for us.

Came here from Tik Tok - I had a sad loss the year this song came out - this song & video meant a lot to me - (the year or 2 before I had seen Avicii play in Ibiza so I felt like there was a special connection) - I wanted to escape & live a different life. Year later had my rainbow 🌈 baby & my life filled with joy. This song soothed me so much during an unbelievably sad time. I will always remember my Angel baby 🩷 & Avicii 💙
This song brings back so many memories, so many emotions. It's timeless, a part of my life
why does the edm 2012 songs make me feel so emotional☹️

That's not old, simply electro house and dance electronic music of today is not so better than 3 or 4 years ago. Today the producers copy 90s ideas or they get too minimal. Today's youth think the new stuff is cool but they don't know the older stuff ( since 3 years ago) is better

I cannot believe Avicii is dead! It's April 20th 2018, and he was only 28! I'm glad he left us so many hits, like this one, which, by the way, helped me a lot with a shitty job I had when this song came out! R.I.P Avicii!
I'm not the kind of guy that is into pop, but I can't help but feel good memories whenever I listen to this very song. Farewell, Avicii.

This is only pop in the sense that it is popular, but genre wise its early 2010s Progressive House, if you want to find more tunes like this check songs of Swedish house mafia, calvin harris, alesso, Sebastian ingrosso etc from that time.
