There is no fighterjet in the world which can beat the look of the F4. Absolute iconic

Seeing these F4 Phantoms in excellent condition flying in demonstrations makes me sad to know that, due to an idiotic decision by authorities at the time, they destroyed the most beautiful fighters in history. The fabulous F14 Tom Cats. We could be enjoying demonstrations of the F14 today that would surely be a huge success.

As a civilian I used to help deliver the Phantom Nose Radar assembly to RAF bases in the U.K. and Germany. It was quite a job mounting it onto the A Frame and loading into its special container for transport. I used to get right by the flight line on that job.

We could not retire the F4s because they did not give us (Turkiye) F 35s. We are building our own 5th generation aircraft. We will continue to use F4s until our 5th generation aircraft is ready. My favorite plane F4. By the way, I would like to say that an F4 of ours managed to hunt down the F14 twice during the NATO exercise in the 80s.

@@tolgacosgun don't underestimate these old girls they are very well maintained and in very capable fighter pilots of the Turkish Air Force. She's my #1 favorite aircraft.

Turkish F-4E Phantoms are gorgeous!! I remember seeing USAF Phantoms from the 3TFW at Clark AB and those flying TDY via CCK Airbase in Taichung, Taiwan after their bombing runs over North Vietnam.

@@FRAproductions Thank you for replying, however I meant the stream of smoke from the engine sides of that specific gulfstream. At 19:20 it seems it has some small vents there or something. Or is that condensation from dew point because of the airstream?
