I live on a military base. Just as soon as the Nerd realized the third party controller wasn't for the 5200, a mortar went off in one of the ranges nearby. Priceless.

Still cracks me up he goes through all the trouble to get the huge extension cord because the tv cord isn't long enough and doesn't reach the outlet... only to just move the television set afterwards anyways.

Best part is moving the TV was unnecessary. Only reason the box didnt reach the TV is that the power cord went through the cupboard due to trying to hook it up to the main TV eariler. He could've just unplugged it, pulled the cord off the back and plug it back in. But i do think the whole thing was done on purpose for the video.

I think it’s fair to say that one of the main reasons why AVGN has lasted so long is because he has not only had good writing but even in his earlier videos like this, he had good production value. So you knew that he put a lot of time and effort into his work and it shows

This is probably my favorite episode, so many classic moments
This is a game review. This is what you immedately think of whenever you hear the term. It's the Angry Video Game Nerd, and it defines the word: “classic.” Even though the videos are so simple and the effects so primative, it has a charm that can never be matched. The props and edits barely represent what they’re suppose to be, but that’s the whole beauty of it. It helps to use your imagination. Sound Effects... “FUCK!” “ASSSSSSS!” Just awesome. The lack of music just enhances the mood. It's that special kind of atmosphere when you’re in the computer room, on the giant leather computer chair, pulling up KZread to check out the new Nerd video. The AVGN has had the longest life-span of any old school video game reviewer. When people say “game reviewers,” they're usually referring to the Angry Video Game Nerd.

"Flying Fuckernauts and Astro-Bastards?" This was originally uploaded to GameTrailers on 2/13/2007. That's a bigger gap than Halo 3 ODST and Destiny.
Watching the intro reminded of my own room setup. I had 1 outlet for the entire room and all my electronics. That hit a little too close to home.
