Another awesome cover artwork by Par Olofsson
played with these guys in Melbourne, glad to see they captured the intensity of their live set into an album, great work boys!
First album I've heard from this band. I'm really impressed, it's aggressive and well crafted.
To all the hate on quality. Buy the hard copy. I did, and it sounds phenomenal! Support.

Always down with that album version. Can't count how many times I've listened to this all the way through.
Woa. I listened to 30+ minutes of chug-tastic music and then finally 32:54-33:20 hits. And now I have to ask... why is there not more of this in this album? Gives me some hope for the future of this currently-extremely-chug-heavy band.
Sure their newest album is great but this one is still my favorite.

Super glad this got uploaded. I wanted to like Servitude more than I did, but it was simply not happening. Would likely have never given this band a 2nd chance if this video wasn't so readily available. Absolutely digging it though! Not sure I can explain it sufficiently, but this album moves and turns at all the right places. Completely scratches the itch for down tuned, blistering alien invasion. If the Faceless' Planetary Duality is the revelation of ancient aliens and body snatchers, Aversion Crown's Tyrant is the heavy handed beatdown from a vastly superior species. . Also, fucking love that album art! Instantly gives you a platform to begin the album from.
I found this album in a Hastings for 14 bucks. I can say, I ship it.
I saw these guys support DevilDriver and Whitechapel in Sydney. Was actually really good live. Never heard much of their stuff before but they are really awesome

People who say this sounds like Thy Art Is Murder are just scene newbs. Deathcore has sounded like this for about 10 years. Thy Art is Murder happens to be blowing up now so comparisons are drawn. Production is similar but this is the sound in the current evolution of deathcore. This is Exile and Depths have a similar production because that was what was in at that time. Its all Deathcore kids, it all will have similar elements.

Don't even want to mention how even Thy Art Is Murder sounds extremely similar to how Oceano or Whitechapel used to sound like - which both sounded a lot like The Acacia Strain or similar back in 2008... and on and on. It's like an endless cycle - Bands like Aversions crown just did a slightly better job covering their scene idols than a majority of other unsigned band did. Still it's called musical development - fascinating isn't it :)

counternr67 none of these bands sound the same, people are just fucking idiots who think because a band is the same genre as another that it sounds the same. People who say that should join pop culture then and gtfo and let us enjoy our metal.
@diogenesanaximandro1666
9 жыл бұрын
counternr67 That's right, they sound similar because they use the same methods: Drop A tuning, growls and false chord highs on vocals, double bass drumming, breakdowns... That's why they sound similar but this fact doesn't make them less enjoyable. If you like deathcore it's good to have many bands to listen with some common characteristics...
Why am I just now finding out about this game?
I seen someone posted a track listing of this... By any chance you could repost it , it would be greatly appreciated !!
