Well, it's more of a prequel. It's really hard to see thanks to how dark it is combined with KZread's video compression, but the Russian sapper from The Last Shambler is at the bottom of the lighthouse killing an infected soldier running at him. The small red lights that could be seen are the eyes of the infected.
