What you showed in this video isn't bad at all. No tramps, drug addicts, alcoholics or scary gang members in the streets. Everything looks clean, no trash deposit no tags. The parks are well taken care of and you have good bicycle roads. I don't know if you did anything on bad suburbs in Vladivostok but I can tell you we have much worse places here in Western Europe

No doubt about that. Moscow is by far much better than most cities in the US and the EU. Western media gives a very untruthful negative propagandistic view of Russia (and other countries) here in the West for geopolitical reasons. The western world is lost and doomed, living on its ancestry and history, loosing its social values and cultural traditions, flooded by woke culture and populated with empty copycat tech vessels with no critical spirit, lacking empathy, humanity, civility and the feeling of being part of a whole, something bigger than the individual itself. Russia, Belarus and many countries in the East are way better, cleaner, healthier, safer, more efficient and organized. Minsk for example is stunning beautiful on all levels. Btw, yes I am a western european.

Most of the cities have really become better and yes , they are much safer than most American and many European cities , I definitely haven 't seen homeless people for a long time . But in the USA and the EU , the infrastructure of villages and suburbs where the private sector is better . In Russia , they are also growing , but there are many places where the old Soviet buildings are still standing , while there will also be in the villages of the Moscow region .

A beautiful city with beautiful people. If this is the worst part of moscow maybe I should move there.

:))))Yes, there was a time when our Frets were sold in England :). Probably now they are not for sale at your place:(. Lada is a very simple, not at all whimsical machine :). All of it can be repaired with your own hands, without being a great car repair specialist :).Lada, it's like an ancient classic of the Soviet automotive industry :). They are very fond of us and for this reason you can still meet Lada 1980 on the streets in our streets :).Personally, my first car was a Lada called "penny" in slang:) 1976 :) and I drove it for 20 years, after which I sold it and it is quite possible that it still carries someone :)

And when we see something build 10-13 years ago, aged and bad looking comparing to "new moscow", we starting to complain.. yeah we complain alot XDDD

The "library" is derived from the Latin "librarium", and the "biblioteka" from the Greek "bibliotheke". So the existence of both options is fair and competitive. Fun fact: Russians who study foreign languages say that it is easier for them to learn Spanish than English.

A good report about my city, otherwise everyone loves to film the center. The center is excellent, but people are interested in how it is in other areas. We call such areas as sleeping blocks. About fifteen years ago, Kapotnya really was the most terrible area of the city outskirts, drunkards, old soviet buildings, an oil plant nearby. Now there are no such residential areas left in Moscow. Everything has been brought back to normal and you can live in Kapotnya.

The main thing, dear Lisa, is that they manage not to starve in those buildings. Well done little courageous!

I rarely drink Coca-Cola, but after it officially “left” our country, if I see a can, I always read where it was made. Coming from all over the world! The video shows an Uzbek cafe, we have a lot of them, cheap, tasty and veeeery filling. Uzbekistan borders Afghanistan, and Coke is from there.

I used to live in Kapotnya, it’s the worst part of Moscow because of the ecological problems. You had to notice while being there that there is a big Oil Factory right to the houses, which produces lots of fumes and pollution, people have lots of the diseases and problems with the health after living there for a while. Also there is a huge thermal power plant and a big market (“former Cherkizon” or “Sadovod”) where there is always traffic jam which leads to the bad pollution as well. The smell of the air is awful. To really assess the district you have to live there for a while not just traveling. It’s more about the ecology and your well being rather than about the houses and parks (which are beautiful for sure). Cheers
