Average Joe reactions to Barbershop Harmony
As a Barbershop singer of 10 years, its has grown onto me as not only an art form but a part of my life. Being able to share this art form and entertain others as brought great joy in myself and many others around the world. Whether it is singing the old songs or something new, Barbershop should be enjoy for its 4 part harmony.
Thanks to popular culture, most people think barbershop is just 4 men singing straight with straw hats and their red and white jackets buts its so much more than that. In this video I wanted to ask a random Joe what they thought Barbershop Harmony is. I then showed them a few videos that might change their prospective.

dude this is what I do every day! try to show people how awesome barbershop is and how it isn't like traditional barbershop
Yea New Fangled Four
More people, fewer clips! I like that you had some variety in the types of clips as well, some from competitions but then also things from Rasmus' legendary tags playlist :) Another idea is to get people with different levels of musical expertise, sort of like those viral videos of people explaining things on five levels. Lastly, it may be worth focusing on specific types of clips per video - for instance, "People React to Biggest Lungs in Barbershop" showing insane posts from Tim Waurick and Jakob Stenberg etc. Great channel concept and I look forward to seeing more!

Actually, the person who held out the post is Jakob from Ringmasters and he beat Tim in a posting competition

@@Creyes1995 also, just listened to your quartets Country Roads! Very nice! How old are you guys? My Quartet is still just Sophomores in High School and were still trying to get the hang of it. Not as easy as it seems! 😅

@@bigoz-fybb my quartet is all in our mid 20's I'm the oldest being 25.
As a 54-Year Life Member of BHS, and Gold Medal Chorus member (I987 West Towns Chorus from Lombard, IL). There a several great quartets, making it hard to mention even only a few. But choruses is a different story. To date, the Greatest Chorus remains Vocal Majority. However, Westminster Chorus is gaining ground! Hey folks. Sorry for the long hiatus. My wife and I just moved to Savannah, GA. Once we are all settled in, we will be pushing out more videos. Would you prefer a reaction video of 1 song with multiple reactions, or the same as this video? Was planning on starting a new channel called “Lock & Ring” since we kind of like the name better. I think two people and multiple songs is the best balance but if I had to choose one person with multiple songs is better. Excited to see more videos!

i was so focused on tim that i didn't see Emanuel Roll so it would make sense that Jakob was the one with that insane post.
