Average Day of a Chinese Office Worker in Shanghai

Li Yi Xuan is a 25 year old Chinese woman who grew up in Beijing and has been living in Shanghai for just two months. She works for a company called Baopals, which is an English language platform that connects users to products from Chinese shopping sites such as Taobao.
Today is November 12th which is the day after China’s biggest 24-hour online shopping event, Double 11. This is her average day.
An Average Day is a low-fi series where we hang out with interesting people for the day.

Li Yi Xuan's got a pretty packed and interesting day. You'd imagine a young person working an office job must be a boring story, but the company's cozy culture, her commute to work, and the activities she's engaged in throughout the day all make up for the experience I can barely imagine myself having in a much longer time. A very nice video. Best of luck to the Born in the morning Happiness and this channel : )

@@antediluvianclockwork9769 It means very good. I believe it comes from comparing how high things are... A notch is a line you draw on a wall. In the old days and people were trading livestock they would want the tallest sheep/goat/llama - So they would be put against a wall and a line drawn at their height. The tallest would have the highest line, the top notch.

I would love to make an average day of my life in Shenzhen if possible! Life is interesting at the world's largest printing company and I hope I could be an example of a well integrated foreigner. Really great idea guys, as always. 👍🏼

@@chesspro22k64 She does not work a typical Chinese job. She is a good person though. I'm glad she made it to Africa. She's on the state-level news there promoting African-Chinese expansion.
