I use avengers... But I have to say that against my fenrir I find that embers are far more damaging, I think they ignore resistance or something.

Lol, the ao jun in those times literally was so fast that the game camera cant hold it when he turns to right or left, and the avegers did 1000 damabe per bullet, absolutely overpowered

@@ayman473 Exodus is a great good weapon but the reload is almost 20 seconds kind of matches the ao jun ability cooldown so it might be viable, depends.

Well I have a ember Ao Jun and it goes incredibly well with the Ao Jun’s ability because you fire all your weapons .I know you do the same thing with the Avenger but Prefer the ember version

One of the biggest issues with the ember is that you need to lead moving opponents in order to hit them, and if you are leating the target, the builtin weapon doesn't fire

Can you also test comparison between Exodus and Redeemer on Aao Jun?

Au jun Exodus is a nuker, not much dps after the initial burst damage. But worry not, the full clip kills everything but half a tank...

I prefer the ember because it's 3 embers so much fire power on the other side the avanger has a 10 second realod and also the ember is really good because it can go through energy shields an physical shield

Avenger has more range, more max dmg output, the flamethrower on ao Jun has different targeting mechanism to embers ( embers u have to aim ahead ), avenger recks energy shields as all bullets hit and it does extra dmg to physical shields!

Plus, Avenger is great at dealing with tanks from a distance and because of its high dps, it is also great at close combat. For Ember, It is great with dealing shielded robots (Ancile & Physical) but alas, there is always Aegis and Absorber take the fun away. Overall, Avenger deals range based damage and that has its advantages at certain situations meanwhile Ember deals a constant damage at 350m and less. Ember is better to rely on when it comes to damage over certain distance but damage of Avenger is so high that it doesn't matter. I chose Avenger as the best weapon for the Ao Jun. Any thoughts?

I agree, avenger doesnt even need to be high level with ao jun, my ao jun is mk1 lvl 6 i think, or 7 with mk1 lvl 10 and 11 avengers, along with increased acceleration and grouping skills it really is beast

I like the range of the avenger and the firing speed....don’t like a 10 second reload, leaves you vulnerable. I like the ember quick reload and splash around obstacles that it provides. I would choose the ember. My favorite option is redeemer, they are nasty. Cheers!

I have Avenger and Ember on my Au Jun. It’s best of both worlds. In the sky I have 500 m range, and Ember + built in Ember at 350 m when I fly in. On the ground I have Ember, usually my Avenger is reloading at that point. The Ember as you mentioned is great for corner shooting and keeps the reds from blitzing me on the ground like a sitting duck. I’m not a fan of mixing weapon ranges, but in this case it works really well.

When you get an add for War Robots while watching some wr game play 😂🤙

When the new shieldbreaker comes the ao jun gets even more powerful. +++Ember I love this thing. I use my Ao Jun with Ember.VW5U0I android

I think Avengers Au Jun with max last stand is the strongest bot currently in War Robot..

Ares is easy to kill with my avenger ao Jun they may be Lv 10 but do a crap ton of damage and forces any ares to use its shield then I use lockdown amo to get rid of it I spent 2 months grinding for that bot so I'm not letting some p2w guy beat me so easily Not saying your p2w

Running the Ao Junwith 1 avenger and 1 ember is a very effective combination because you have a) the Advantage of Range, Shorter reload and Corner Shoot ability and b) because constant Fire for a long Time and when both weapons are empty it takes only 3-4 secconds till you can shoot again...try it out!

Why I love my Avengers on AJ? Very simple, fully loaded it can steam roll 2 to 3 Reds in a single run. There was once, I flew into 3 Reds hiding behind the hilltop in Castle map (staircase structure just at the edge of the gouge). Took them by surprise, all 3 got shredded including an Ares, LOL. They probably was confused whether it was a Red or Blue because I flew right right into them from behind and at ground level flight. And with the current meta of Damage Resistance bots, nothing beats having the Machine Guns....shoot like a RAMBO...LOL

I think the avenger is balanced. It does a ton of damage and has 500m range, but it doesnt bypass any shields and it has a 10 second reload

The embers need some more love in war robots

Ember isn't that good against dash bots and if ur avenger is high level u should be able to tear down any shield in a matter of 0-4 seconds

Also ember can be a defensive weapon if ur running circles around a building or cover and the enemy is chasing u can fire the ember like rockets but sadly that's only useful if ur faster than the opponent and not very good in most game modes it's great for free for all and very few situations in other game modes

Hey manni for the next high power low budget robot I was thinking u could feature the Lancelot? 1: the meta is mainly energy wepons giving the Lancelot's physical shield a lot of importantance 2:Lancelot can run 63kph (whith max pilot skills) combined whith a heavy slot and 2 mediums. And a physical shield 3:the Lancelot has a decent amount of health 4:Lancelot comps cost a lot less to produce 5: a total of 480 Lancelot comps can be produced in a single day so u will have it a lot sooner compared to robots such as ao jun or ares 6: the Lancelot doesn't cost as much to upgrade 7: When a Ancilot is made the only wepon that can dmg u is flames and u can increase the durability of all shields by 60% ontop of that which makes a super heavy duty tank

I have both set ups and the Avenger Ao Jun lasts longer in most battles but requires patience and cunning Ember are more in your face but that splash is why Lancelots melt so fast

Avenger, you can break energy and physical shields for teammates, 500 m range with shot grouping and acceleration gives you probably the highest dps for 2 heavysets in the game

I like the embers, for ignoring shields and corner shooting. Plus, it takes some serious skill to hit a moving target from a flying platform with a slow moving flamethrower! Lol

Imagine in situation when the enemy is almost dead and u have that 10 second reload

dont need to, thats happened to me at least 3 times so far and its almost a rage kinda thing

l got 1 ao jun from super chest and l was trying it with different setups and l liked avenger the most. Because its a good weapon and cheap to upgrade. lts only down side is its reload speed and getting line of site with enemy.

I wonder how do they compare to a Calamity Ao Jun (that's what I play)

Calamity is better alone with other things. Like one calamity 2 scourge. Calamity just does no damage at distance. U have to be within 100 m to get any power

I'm not sure how people assume one would be using Calamity at 600m range. I'm constantly at around 200m with them and I enjoy the ability to trail enemy with the built-in flame without having to focus on where my weapons are firing. At times I can fire built-in weapon at one enemy and fire Calamity at other. Very powerful build when used right.

@@Monkey21111 I agree. I always try to get as close as possible before firing and giving away my location to the enemy in front of me that doesn't see me with my Spark Calamity Strider

I have used both setups and I can easily say that au jun with avengers is hands-down "THE BEST" setup because it is the only setup that can one clip kill the really tanky bots like invader and fenrir, no other setup can do that all the other traits like range and damage are another plus and as for the 10 second cooldown.... what I do is everytime i make a kill I fire empty the avengers and get ready for another kill .

The avenger will always be op the embers have a problem with targeting but avenger reload is yoo much

you would also have to include exodus and calamity, which also work very well on ao jun

I feel the reason some people use the Avengers over Embers or even Redeemers is the lower upgrade costs of Avengers. 26 mil silver to go from level 11 to level 12 is pretty cheap compared to Ember or Redeemer. Just my personal opinion on it. Part of the reason I use Avengers on my Ao Jun.

OK~~ From the damage statistics: The sustained damage of Avenger is only higher than Ember when within 150m range. If someone usually attack enemy at around 200m, ember is better. But if shot grouping and accelerated mode are added to Avenger, it has the highest sustained damage within 500m range. For my playing style, I will choose Avenger.

lock down ammo can't save you from ares. So maybe phase shift is better. I use this :)

Avenger is a good weapon, but a weapon that has a matched range to the built in weapon allows you to fly and use both weapons at the same time.

My level 12 avengers are enough to deal a heck of a lot of damage

havent watched it but think avenger is better. seems way better. but if it was either ao jun redeemers or avengers- i might choose redeemers. edit: manni u forgot to say the fact that the avengers have more burst damage before the 10 sec reload. and by the time the avenger runs out, most enemies are dead.

Hey Manni thanks for the great game as usual. Personally I would take neither as I am a more of a brawler and in order to fully utilize the 350m built in flames the redeemer would be my choice. I would have gone for either the avenger if not for the 10 second reload or the embers need for strongpre aim ability while you are flying around in ao Jun.

Avenger is very powerful and not expensive to level up. Ember is just way too expensive for me. So i prefer avenger just for that simple reason 👍

Ach und mit deiner Aussage eine Stunde am Tag und der Einsatz Gathering ist zu schaffen.... das reicht zum ende wohl nicht lol... Aber weiter so bin nicht Böse ;)

At MK2 it’s “Damaging”. But to make it MK2 would cost someone hundreds of dollars with all of the pilot skills and Shields. It’s really ridiculous how much this game needs to be fixed. It’s sad.

I think the redeemer and ember on it would be beast even tho the aiming is hard once you get used to it im sure it can kill quick.

Best combo for lower lvl is mk. 2 lvl 12 Termite x2 same for Aphid and Natasha and quantum radar and last stand

Why would you want a weapon that has more range than your built in weapon.

I chose avengers because they have so much dps you dont really need the flamethrower and you usually get close for more dps anyway

I think the Avenger version is better because of the range advantage. I like the ember version though. Also, in order to be a truly fair comparison you should have the legendary on both, or none, not just one. Totally agree about not needing last stand.

And on the otherside we have the avengers with embers :). great work keep it up

I think it’s really a tie and depends on what your play style is. But avenger NEEDS sharpshooter pilot skill. Only other thing is avenger is way cheaper to level up

im happy with my aoujun thunder lock down, its an under 100 meter monster, if i see ancilot, i burn through his shield and lock him down while my thunder peel of ancile stealthy from above, and land just behind him inside ancile and go all out while circling to keep in his butt that same trick can also goes for bulwark, fujin, falcon, ares, haechi i just need to get as close as possible, if they have quantum rdar ill just manuver in circle right above their head to confuse them

Try to get glories so you can lockdown and use phase shift to be a complete troll

Me too actually, till i met with this combo. Ember gets empty in 1 flight and Avenger halves. In the 2nd flight both needs reloading, and in case you have enemies nearby Ember will continue doing damage with it’s shorter reload time. Just give it a try, i bet you’ll like it!

What's the best setup of a robot that you've ever played as?

I run Embers on mine. Half the reload time you have Splash around walls although honorable mention I would agree with some others redeemers are quite nasty as well.

Me watching war robots vids in 2021 to see what to run on my ao jun :Ads ok we may as well show you an ad of an rdb griffin on war robots 2017 version 😂

Redeemer is just nuts on the Ao Jun, lol. I like redeemer best, but i don't have any Avengers and would like to know your thoughts 1 vs the other. I think avenger vs redeemer would have been the better comparison video, does not look like you compared those 2 in a video yet. If you have 2 Ao Juns, i'd say 1 of each is best to take advantage of both. Ao Jun with redeemer may become the #1 robot setup with shield breaker on it due to the immediate damage it delivers.

I would take the Avenger version to be honest. But both Avenger and Ember have moment and certain situations when they can outperform each other, so ember is actually really good, but I still prefer Avenger (with Sharpshooter pilot skill)

I like the video and comparison, but don't like some of the comments. You imply it's shameful to use Last stand and Lock Down ammo with Avengers on AuJun. Once you get in to Champion S class game play it is almost standard practice to see bots built in the most deadly combination possible. I just think those comments give players transitioning into higher leagues, a false sense of what to expect. Higher league clan game play is knock down, drag out, push, pull, claw if you have to.. There is not much mercy on the battlefield. Great video however, and thank you for the comparison.

Imagine the damage increase effect with an avenger, each bullet deals more damage than usual okay now imagine an ember and the "bullets" we cant really see but its vast. Now with an ember and avenger would be interesting but the reload time sucks so ember and redeemer should be better than anything anyone has ever used on the au jun. Just gotta get used to the awkward aiming. Very possible.

Overall probably Avenger, but it can vary depending on the target? Ember is very good against traditionalist Falcon and Invaders. It also has a very fast reload time, which is useful. But the short range is a serious limitation.

Avengers do best against invaders and traditionalists Ember can do really good against slow bots with under 230k health
