My cousin committed suicide 4 years ago, at the age of 14, I used to listen to this song in her memory as I felt closer to her whenever this song was on. Yesterday her lil sister (my cousin) too committed suicide at the same age. She had been on ventilator for 10 days & yesterday when I was listening this song my mum told me that she’s passed on... This song holds so much more meaning now than it did before! It gave me strength 4 years ago when I was battling depression & has helped me to overcome my struggles & my demons. Thank you A7X for this masterpiece, I can truly understand & feel your loss!

Stay strong I know the pain of losing a family member, my uncle was shot when I was 8 and my grandmother passed away early last year. You can do this work through it and stay strong

My friend passed away 3 months ago. In class during free time, we always playing music with him, although he never likes my music taste because i hear metal and rocks music, but he still respect that, then suddenly he passed and we graduate high school without him. This song really remind me of him, because i don't really find someone to talk again in my class in the rest of semester. I just wanna say that i miss him so much, i think right know he's happy and playing music there with God

Tomorrow it will be a week since I lost my grandfather and I find it hard to listen to this song w/o tearing up bc I'm thinking of him. I know that Syn originally wrote this song for his grandfather and since Jimmy's death it has come to mean something to the band.

2018 We lost Vinnie Paul

Just lost a friend yesterday morning. His name was also Jimmy. He took his own life after battling his depression for quite some time. He was a great guy, and was my little brothers football coach. Really gonna miss him. R.I.P. both Coach Jimmy and The Rev.
