This song is about going through life on autopilot, not taking opportunities, taking pleasures in the mundane and regular, settling for the ordinary, ppl are like "well if this happens then let it be so" (as it may) just accepting life and how it plays out without intervention, treating things that are pretty normal for most ppl like drinking coffee for example as if it were some hardcore drug (this dark roast got me SO F*CKED UP) at the end the person regrets not living a more exciting life, they feel like they have no purpose anymore since they just lived and that's it so they take their own life. That's the jist of it to me.

This song is actually very sad, it’s about a man taking his own life after basically realizing that “life is but a dream”. This whole album has very sad lyricism. Not in a bad way by the way
