So cool! I went after a rod once. Already lost one earlier. I'm like no I'm catching em on this rod I need it back now. I got it and 5 minutes later I caught big bass of the tournament on it. Also went back two days later and " caught" the other rod I lost lol

If you take an old school metal stinger and open all the clips on it you can tie it to a string and get your pole back 100%.

Nice job!! Even when your fishing by yourself it worth it. I’ve gone in several times for a bass flipping and pitching cover but not in 55 degree water. Impressive!!!!

I done this for a jig one time. It got hung up on a stump and I went in after it. I didn't win the tournament but I did win big fish with it after I retrieved it. Sometimes you do whataver it takes.

Trolling motor running whole time in dirty water. Good thing he didn't have to go under. Might been a bloody live mate.

I do that just to get my $15 snagged lure 😂

It's the rules for major league fishing, and you can't toss the fish into the water, you have to release it.

It’s a little more than that. AOY points championship Qualifying points and 4 pounds is huge. That definitely moved him up several places and made him money!
