Now you're in my wheelhouse. Used to do windows, doors, gutters and decking. This is not your first rodeo, I can tell. Another good one Rudy. Happy New Year to you, buster and the rest of the Home Improvement family .

Excellent video. I had no idea there was gutter spray paint but it makes perfect sense. There is rotten wood behind my gutter that I need to replace when I do it myself. What do you think that entails? Is the fasica board just nailed into the end of the roof rafters? Any idea what size of wood it usually is?

HI! Thanks for the good feedback... The facia board could be 5/4 x 6 board (1" thick) or it could be regular 1X 6 which is 3/4 thick. Depends on the house... You'll probably have to remove the gutter to get that out of there unless there's a way to support it while you remove the facia.....

when you cut the gutter with angle grinder you actually damage the zinc layer on top of the gutter and it gets prone to corrosion ;) you should always cut your metal with pliers :)

Thanks! Yea they're pretty high around here... Maybe the materials have gone up as well. 200' is a lot since the gutters go around the whole house.

That's a fairly typical overall run around here. I think we averaged about $5 a foot for the gutter, about 60 for a downspout.

Oh very good.... $5/ foot is a good price! That would have wound up at $13-$1400.... I probably would have gone that route to get the seamless... 😀. What area are you in? I'm in Fl about 80 miles north of Tampa..

I think I broke down the cost at the end of the video. I want to say it was around $700 for 200 feet with 4 downspouts..
