Brilliant break down. Thankyou. I've only just found out about this game but having loved the films and Ubisoft open world environments. This looks like a winner.

The world does look mesmerizing and beautiful, but certain mechanics throw me off a little bit for sure! Either way, can't wait to play it

I hate seeing people hating this game because some of the mechanics are weird and some animations don't look finished. This is because this build (the demo people played) of the game isn't finished, it's about 7 months old now and when it was launched for certain people to play, it was 6 months old. They have most likely added new mechanics, and updated the animations. Seeing as how the game had every aspect of it passed through James Cameron's team at light storm before being put into the game and had access to the next three Avatar movies scripts to make the story fit seamlessly. The developers said that after watching Avatar 3, you will want to go back and see certain aspects of the game. I love every aspect of this game, and can't wait to play it. The sound design, the visuals, the voice acting, the animation, all of it is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted in a game that is canon in the Avatar universe.

Very impressive and thorough video, I’ve watched a lot of videos relating to the new Avatar game and this is by far the most informative and professional. Big up 👍

Most useful and answered video I've seen about this game and much appreciated!! Definitely going to buy this game on Thursday!

I know they wanted to focus on range attacks but they shouldve given us a knife (specifically for human stealth takedowns) a simple backstab animation wouldve fixed that weird punching thing. It wouldve been real easy to write it in two, they couldve given it to us when we get our first bow or complete our first hunt. But thats only a small nitpick tbh, i honestly will probably use the bow ans AR for everything 😂

Gameplay wise, it's disappointing no knife takedown. But lore wise, you're 10 foot alien who is said stronger and having more bone and muscle density than humans. One punch probably is enough to kill a human. It doesn't make sense to crouch and sneak to a small human when the bow gets the job done.

One of my favorite things from Far Cry games is the bow and take downs. Gonna feel weird playing a similar game and not being able to.

It would be nice if Ubisoft lets its studios, take chances, think outside the "Ubibox" if you will..I get they are sticking with what works, its why almost all UBI games kinda play the same, have the same format, but, it also means, that anything boring, broken mechanics, level design, all kinda follow over to any Ubi game, because they stick to said format so much, you can for sure recognize if you are playing an Ubisoft game, even if its being made by one of its studios under its umbrella..

Bruh I finally but the bullet and pre ordered it two days ago, now I see that this video posted 2 hours ago and now I’m sweating 😅 Edit: no longer sweating, this just helped solidify my excitement for this games release! Also it’s so cool to finally hear that you can in fact chance your Ikrans color!

Basically the art books are exactly what they sound like. They’re books containing all the art, sketches and research that went into the movies. My books that I mention are specifically about the movies, so they have things like the handmade Na’vi clothing they used to render and create the clothing in the books, lore about the Na’vi ect however for the digital book that comes with the unlitmate version of the game, it’ll have things for the game in it, like the different rendering of the ikran with text explaining how they came to make them ect. An art book for the game would also most likely have concept art in it, art that is used to get to the final design of things. Sometimes they’ll have quotes from people who have worked on the piece the book is about. It’s a very interesting thing to look through, especially if you’re interested in how they came to make the things within the movie/game that the book is about

Seems to have a Horizon feel to it, which is a good thing, im glad they put effort into this, rather than just throwing out a half assed game based on a film, I wish more film companies would make sure the game to their film is well funded and designed

Nice looking game though I've never really been a Avatar fan. Ubisoft games always go on sale usually sooner rather than later and I've got a huge backlog of games to play already. Might pick this up later on. Interested to see how it reviews. Definitely not a priority game for me but i hope the people who are excited to play enjoy it.

There’s a lot I want to say about this. One I’m scared for the skins in this game if the big bundle exclusive skins are skins you’d think you can scavenge around the battle field.😂 next I hope this game have some type of depth of skill development. There should br stealth, Berserker, Tech, Navi etc some type of high skill tree similar to cyberpunk. ALSO big thing with them hyping the map it should br heavy life within it I hope to see hundreds of species of wild life, even the old James Cameron avatar had an enjoyable wildlife system. I also hope they add more weapons and mounts as well.

This game came free with the purchase of my Rx 7900xtx graphic card, so I will definitely be trying it.

Yes you can do that mate, pretty much the whole HUD can be turned off in this game, you can go full immersive mode if you want to

I don’t want to be negative but it’s basically Far Cry with an Avatar skin. Ubisoft has had its ups and downs through the years. But who knows, maybe I’ll be surprised with this game.

Funny enough that’s what drew me to it. I really like the more unique Far Cry’s like Primal. Other than that they are all just new skins on Far Cry 3.

I was excited until you talked about the constant need for crafting even mid-fight if you don't do enough before hand. I lose interest quick when it comes to that sort of thing. No mele weapons is a bummer too.

I think there are pants and a t-shirt (the character has it on in some of the trailers), but the game probably forces you to take them off. Hoping to get some more human/ military looking clothes.

There isn’t any news regarding character customization other than being able to change gender and features. It will probably be close to the very beginning of the story.

Before even watching: Have a controller or be ready to get twisted fingers, very clumsy with keyboard and mouse(haven't yet found a way to get some pressing to the mouse buttons instead). Very good looking but quests lack information/description so if you pick up a quest before you have even explored an area it will be annoying to find it(feels like they only put the Exploration option there but want everyone to use the "run from point A to marked point B method. Like there is once sentence that is supposed to guide you and you might have forgotten the dialog so had to cheat 2 times already by googling and yes I was like waay off target by following the text left for me as a clue, like the clue says "in area B but the item was in Area C". Also had to check a video when a quest NPC didn't show up but did some restarting and resting and fast traveling and one night she was back after that the other quest NPC disappeared but it all ended well). Got if for free when I updated my computer and was better than I expected, still if you are going the run from A to B method the game has given me goosebumps 4 times already and I have only played like 20 hours, its really beautiful but I do love Aberration map in ARK also :D

tbh i got this game for free as a gift with my AMD gpu and can’t waitttt to play it, not having to pay for it is a hugeee plus cause if i don’t like it there’s nothing to regret

i pre-ordere the ultimate edition on PC. I was awaiting this game since i saw the first announcement trailer. I updated my i7 8700k to a R7 7800X3D My 16Gb to a 32Gb DDR5 My RTX 2080Ti to a RTX 4090 Now im ready to go to Pandora !

The price in EU for me was 69.99€ for the base game.

Wait…I have the “Special” edition on pre-order for just over £72 (incl. postage)? It appears to be Gold edition sans DLC.

Kinda not hyped about this game, been generally quiet about it so. Kinda makes me scared of what it will be like but will definitely give it a go. Seems like the general Ubisoft formula with Avatar background but if they can do some surprising, I am all for it

Games kinda have to be quite now days ever since the whole cyberpunk marketing disaster. Many companies have come forward, even CDPR, saying they over hyped the game and over promoted. So games now just have taken that into account and you don't hear much anymore until they're just about to launch.

This game just screams 7/10 ever since I first saw it. If it’s a 9 or 10/10 kinda game I’d actually be super shocked.

I already have bought the game and I'm very excited to play this Wednesday night since it comes out at midnight! SO EXCITED!!!! Also PC isn't a master race, it's a preference. Just like I prefer the PS5, not saying that the PS5 is better because there's no reason to because it's just a preference. I like the controller & I like not having to have a PC in order to play these games, reason being is because not only are they too expensive right now but they take up too much space. Just an opinion & preference, yes I know I can use the PS5 controller on PC but again preference, not master race..

Character Customization?? I am so pumped now. I was worried we'd play as some no-name uncustomizable character

That's like the single least important feature for a game to have. Especially when the game is in first person. I'd rather them put the time into polishing the game play more, than make the characters face customisable.

I am I mean it’s a beautiful world and it looks cool! It might look like far cry combat but it looks cool and interesting! It worth a shot Ubisoft do make beautiful games!!

Industry approved “Gone Gold” has no meaning anymore, not after Cyberpunk 2077. 😂

I feel like it’s got potential, Ubisoft isn’t the developer it’s being developed by both Lightstorm Entertainment and Massive Entertainment, with Ubisoft as the publisher I’m seeing some good potential with this because of that. A with me having surgery the day after it came out…it will give me something to do while I recover

@@AndyReloads Yeah, I want to support developers and games but lately it’s been better to get a game via subscription just in case the game isn’t what I’ve been expecting or just isn’t for me. I really like Avatar and the Ubi open worlds from AC to FC so what I’ve seen I’ve liked but even optimization plays a big part on games these days so it’s better to be cautious with where you spend money.
