The best cinematics of any "how-to-play" I have ever seen 🙂
This was such a fun video to make. Especially duct taping a knife to the camcorder.

But does Wetzel like this game?
This is how to make a professional introduction, and overview of a board game. Just got my copy today after I sold my 2nd ed a month ago.
I just played this last night for the first time with my cousin, his wife and best friend. I was the haunt revealer and thus deemed the traitor but my cousin volunteered cause I was still lost, and even if we won and killed the traitor, I was honestly lost for most of the game. This video really helped me understand it better, so thank you. I’ll be ready next time we play 😏
I just got this for my birthday. The rule/mechanical changes are refreshing. I will still go back to 2nd/Widow's Walk for the aesthetic and classic experience, but 3rd edition is the way to go for introducing new players.
An amazingly well-done tutorial video from the official game company!! Nice!
This was a really fun video. Good production, well explained rules.
Just played a game in the second edition where a player rolled a 0 on the haunt roll when the first omen was draw. Followed by another game where someone rolled a 1 on the second omen draw, causing the haunt to begin very early. Games where the haunt has been revealed this early on are extremely one sided (often to the traitor, except when i'm the traitor :D), so the new haunt roll rules seem like a clever way to avoid this problem
This is an incredible video. Nice job!!!
This video is far superior to all other instruction videos for this game!! Thank you :)
Dude this video is great and fun to watch and learn thanks !!
I gotta give it to the actor. He nailed the b film feel while explaining the rules. 😎👉👉
I was taught that the haunt roll was where you roll 6 dice and as long as you get the number if omen cards or higher was when the haunt started. I've only ever played the second edition so that could be a second edition thing but I've enjoyed playing it that way
Very thematic and informative overview!
Great video! AMAZING production! Well done!
great video! congrats 👏
This video is AMAZING!
Ha ha! Great show! Would be nice to play this game with you 😂.
:) Superb, legendary and 10/10 rank board game !
Best video rules ever 😂 great job
Great video, but how do I get to the basement? 14:50
Which haunt events are your favorites?
Great game honestly
Sorry can anyone answer my question I just got the game and I’ve read the rules and all as well as watch this video but how do I get into the basement landing from the entrance hall do I just move there does the secret staircase connect it

A player cannot initially enter the basement until something like an Event (e.g. The Secret Elevator), an Item (e.g. Map), room tile text (e.g. Laundry Chute, Mystical Elevator, Collapsed Room) or a Haunt setup step (e.g. Haunt #22) instructs/allows a player to enter the basement region. Similarly, a player cannot leave the basement until a discovered adjacent tile (e.g. Secret Stairs), an Event, Item, room tile text or Haunt setup step instructs/allows a player to enter another region. To address your specific question, a player cannot move between the Basement Landing and the Entrance Hall since those tiles are not considered adjacent. However, the Hallway and the Secret Stairs are considered adjacent, but only after both have been placed. A player typically will not be able to place basement tile like the Secret Stairs until they are discovering new tiles in the basement. Therefore, the first step to discovering the Secret Stairs is getting into the basement, but that can only be done through a game action as described in detail above. Also, monsters have special movement rules that allow them to move between the Basement Landing and the Ground Floor Staircase as though they were adjacent.

The ones on the characters or the 'long one'? Also, what's it that you don't understand exactly? :)

@@kurttlorenz386 i don’t understand the long tracker when it says “set it to 6/3/1/0” like haunt 34 ed. 3

@@sabrinadiaz1080 Oh that's easy: Each is for the different player counts. If you play with 3 players, or 4... or 5... or 6. (Page 18 of the Rule Book; well, at least in the Spanish version). ☺
How do you do a haunt roll when no one has an omen card?
@timchamings5956

Some events will cause a haunt roll also.
Also what happens to dwad players, i feel as though it would be boring if they died early on, how long ks the game
6:15 says you MAY make a haunt roll, does that mean you don't have to?
@davidk2096
Жыл бұрын
No, he misspoke. You have to roll for haunt every time you get an omen card.
I thought you were forced to make the haunt roll?
I came here looking for a breakdown of the rule changes from 2nd to 3rd edition, was told to go read the rule book. Roger my man, will go read the book instead of watching the video.
@davidk2096

He didn't say that. He said, "experienced players will find a list of changes in the rulebook" Your choice to not watch the video and go read instead.
Hey, can y’all verify if you’re making another lightsaber forge obi wan lightsaber for the new kenobi show?
Super cute video
Is it just me or is this game confusing?
They should have made this with Stranger Things characters XD
In this version of the game you roll 5 dice for the haunt roll no matter what
@marcusmyge

2nd edition always roll 6 dice, and the haunt starts of you roll less than the amount of revealed omens. For third edition the haunt is triggered if you roll 5 or more, you roll the amount of dice equal to the amount of revealed omens.
