@open your eyes I think if you have your volume all the way up, it's harder to hear him. I personally can hear a male voice vocalising with her in the background. Maybe the original lyric video that Ava Max herself posted provides an audio that you can better hear him with. It could be Mark, but I'm somewhat new to NCT 127 and still have a hard time distinguishing between their voices, so i can't really help with that. I don't doubt their vocal capabilities. If the video provides an audio and it highlights Jaehyun as the one vocalising with her, I'm inclined to believe it. :)

Lol almost more than 100 times I heard it with earphone with full volume. on another part, is it logic for a member to record a song just for an unclear back vocal while the other two members can also did that? Who cares if it’s only 3 members? Stop with all the jaehyun comments because his is most definitely in the song ok! Jaehyun is a baritone singer meaning his singing voice is a lot deeper than Ava who obviously isn’t baritone. Because Ava isn’t baritone and jaehyun is, his voice will automatically be a lot smaller and quieter than hers. He does sing in the chorus! There’s an edited clip going around on Twitter where you can hear Jaehyun’s voice more clearly, and Doyoung’s voice is the higher one layering over it. It sucks how you can barely hear him in the official audio 😞

You are the one should check your ears. But imagine its really bad for a member recorded a song just for an unclear back vocal (logic thinking). That's not SM style of collabs. I don’t think the song is bad but I’m a little disappointed that it was only 3 members in the collaboration .. like with the concept photo they made it seem like it would be all of them .. I know there’s a lot of them so line distribution is hard but like come on you could of had certain members sing parts together or even a little bit of the song so that they all got to sing .. this is what disappoints me with collaborations
