I showed this song to my friend who just got out of an abusive relationship and it made her feel way better about her choice. Edit: thank you guys for so much support. And here is some clarification of the boyfriend he was not physically abusive no he was worse he was mentally abusive. me and my sister had to tell her that what he was doing was not good and that if he was a good boyfriend then he was supposed to treat her like a queen. 2 year update: sadly I am no longer friends with her she was incredibly toxic towards me and after everything that I have told her about her boyfriend she kept on getting back with him. It’s been a while since I have spoken with her but I still look at what’s happening with her on her social media and I see that she is no longer with her boyfriend and now is with someone else. Thank you guys so much for your support over these years I am sad that things have ended this way.
