We RV full time and boondock a bit. Our RV has a 100g tank but after 10 days or so we start needing more water. i did something a little different to solve the problem. I have a water bladder called an Aquatank II that i can use in the back of the truck to go get water, mine is the 65 gallon flavor.

Dan that was a test before it was permanently mounted. I did this same thing for my neighbor but used a one of my old 12 volt pumps out of a RV connected to M20 battery and adapter. Then put hose quick connector on the pump and on a garden hose and sprayer hose and wand, but it was a 45 gallons.

I think the brand is "aquapur" but you can use a pump that's made for an at home reverse osmosis water system. They run on 12V dc and typically push around 4 gpm. Also, Tractor Supply has liquid tanks that are made to mount on a trailer so it has the flat bottom and a low profile.

If you mount it on a vehicle put covers on its top and bottom, because vibrations and the sun will mess up this plastic very soon.
