I hear you about NYC. I'm from a small Midwest town. I love going to NYC, specifically for Broadway shows. But, every time I go, I both love it and feel completely overwhelmed. It's like magical and dreadful at the same time.

But I have to say, sweet girl, you seem like you really should consider living somewhere with seasons. I grew up in CA. My husband and I moved from San Francisco to Denver when our daughter was 16mo old.
