Score on the jute rug! I see what you mean, that is indeed a great fit/ look. I am super inspired by the very full and earthy vase with the wheat looking stems. I had a visceral reaction to that. Lol So cozy. And… love the color of the candles.

Beautiful autumnal tones! I love a good tablescape. I so agree with you about the beautiful beech leaves being removed, I've never quite got having something big and tall in the centre. If weve only got a couple of guests I quite often do something at the end of the table, but if theres six of us, then there isnt the room. I so get you with not having extra dinnerware and cutlery for best. (We do have extra cutlery, but we use the best every day and have some extra for when we're more than 12). Some of our tableware is getting on for thirty years old and has been used every single day. I really enjoy using something good quality on a daily basis, and as it's quality, it can stand up to the use. The only things that don't get used as much are some of the serving dishes, but it's not because they get saved for best.

I’ll be doing that soon but unfortunately clothing requires the weather to wear it, it’s still really warm so I’m waiting for cooler weather 😊

It’s only usually me that would have a glass for my water or Diet Coke. Everyone else drinks beer from cans and that’s what they like so I’m cool with that 😊

That depends on what you personally prefer. I don’t think it makes any difference myself because you just pick them up and eat, but to each their own 😊

Looks beautiful for decorating but not very functional if real people were sitting there. Hard to talk over such a large statement vase I would think.

Food would be on the plates which are on the tables and there’s plenty of space for drinks. We’re not operating a buffet here 🙈
