I had an Autotek 44 back in the 90s....it beat my 4 10s UP!! I'm glad to see they're still around.

I had the autotek mean machine amp way back in the day. That was a great amp. Today nah junk. Wish I kept and still had all my old amps from the 90's & 2000s

Zed got his hands on a few back then. Autotek and HF were along the same lines

I'm pretty sure every company owned by Maxxsonics originally went out of business and they then bought the old name and rights. So I seriously doubt the original Autotek company had anything to do with this amp. I remember them from the 90's, but never had much interest in them.

I think it sounds just fine for the amp pushing about 200 watts it seems to sound good not to bad for the price like u said if your just starting out and on a budget this amp and a dual 4 ohm 10 or 12 in a good ported box it will be just fine and also great videos keep up the good work I like the way u show it all from 4,2, and 2 ohm test to gut shots really cool

What i dont like about that along with Boss and Power Acoustic is for the ppl just getting into it, they have no idea. They buy a set of 10s or 12s, 1500-2000w amp and get disappointed usually cuz the amp is only 200-300w.

One thing about this amp it's pretty much the same power as the boss r1100 a few more watts the autotek puts out but if u had to choose one I would pick the autotek it has a lot better adjustments and for running one 8 it works really well as the boss does to in a really good box but your videos are very good and accurate nice work

Would you dyno the smallest 4 channel version of their d class mean machine line? I have the smallest and it sounds like a good 50wrms by four and I'm running four 3 ohm separates. My autotek is super tiny. Using it temporarily until my adcom gets re-capped. The autotek was only about $70 shipped... (MM-1525.4D)

One is ds800 ×4 and the other is ts800 ×4. I have the ts800 ×4.

In case you missed it, he does review the bigger brands such as Rockford, Kicker, Pioneer and Sony. I'm not sure they get as many views as the cheaper stuff.
