    Yeah, imagine these drones with explosives attached, destroying targets kamikaze-style. You run into a dense forest, and they slowly advance on you, and all you hear behind you is the howling of their motors. That would be pretty plausible even with today's technology.

    As someone who has never seen a Bamboo forest in real life, I was surprised to see it doesn’t appear to be that dense. Perhaps there’s a logical reason why but I’ve seen Bamboo clusters so tight, light has a hard time getting through it, let alone flying robots. However l, that’s also just when people put it in their yards here in the US. Probably a different species, etc.

    Yeah? Then why does us military, Russia, Ukraine etc all use Chinese dji drones? Why does dji have 80%+ market share of civilian drones just by itself, not even counting other Chinese drones companies? Where are the videos of skydio drone swarms flying through a thick forest autonomously? Can you link me to those videos? Because I can't find it. They show just done tracking a car or something out in open space. Not thick forest with branches and leaves everywhere and in massive drone swarm and networked together. These don't even need cellular coverage(4g/5g etc) and don't need pre programmed maps or terrain knowledge. They figure everything out themselves with local on board sensors and systems, don't need satellite communication like space X starlink. Please show me those videos from skydio, I would love to see it. In reality I'm guessing they are even inferior to dji drones, let alone these state of the art swarm drones with autonomous systems and sensors and have object avoidance without any pre mapping or terrain/obstacle scanning etc.

  • @zw.drawing

    @zw.drawing

    What does radar do? These are all training their collaborative ability and obstacle avoidance ability. Each drone is autonomous, and now there are dozens of drones that may appear in the same area at the same time in the future, which would be fatal... It is impossible to intercept them one by one. China already has this type of mini drone that integrates sea, land, and air, which is currently being tested
