The sound that I listen is like a campaign, the tcm may sound like a campaign?

transmission shift actuator they are 50 bucks a peice. sounds like you need to replace actuator B.

These gearboxes are very prone to issues especially between i believe 2012 and 2015 or might be 2014 but yeah a Ford with the powershift within these years are very problematic, i have a 2014 Ford Focus mk3 powershift and struggle to even get 25mpg around town and its had to have clutch pack change twice and the car hasn't even done 70k miles yet....the transmission control module and clutch packs are very common to go so if you buy a powershift then always get extended warranty as a new gearbox you're talking minimum £2,000. Not sure what Fords new 7 speed gearbox is like though.

I have a “2012” Ford Focus. When stopped at a stop light and light turns green to go, when pressing the gas pedal the car doesn’t move. I’ve changed the Excelerator Pedal and the purge valve and the car is still doing the same thing. What do you think can be my issue? No codes are showing it’s the transmission.

Replace your alternator., See if your car is missing the splash shields that are supposed to block water from coming in. They are the plastic parts that sit right behind the front tires. Check if your alternator splash shield is missing. It's just a black plastic part on the alternator that prevents it from getting wet. If you do see the splash shields missing their just dollars at the junk yard and just require 2 10mm bolts to remove..easy peezy..then just wait till it rains and see.

How do u know if fuses are burnt. My 2014 Ford focus se is not shifting?

I have a 2014 ford focus that the transmission was perfect until one day I was cleaning it out and the the factory battery went dead after 6 years replaced it then the car will not go into reverse and won't shift out of 1st gear if I drop it in low and get over 30mph and shift it back in drive and cruise at 60...I've checked the grounds even ran jumper wires between all the ground still nothing any ideas ?

Having similar issue but my problem started after I took it to a mechanic to fix a axle cause I ran up a curb must be something with swapping battery and not running something after or maybe a fuse? I'm confused with this as well, my car has stalled on me while driving and won't advance, today it started having problems with reverse gear now.

We have replaced the clutches in our 2014 Ford focus. Now that it's all back together, the car will not start at all and it does not register which gear it's in. It only shows an enlarged, grey "D."

Old post but you have a Bad battery, bad starter and possibly a bad alternator. Could be fuses or relays start there..also try jump starting it first. To know if it's your battery. If it turns on it's not your starter, its not fuses or relays If it doesn't turn off by itself. Next while it's still on..remove the black ground connection from the battery, disconnect it and if the car turns off bad alternator, if it stays on your alternator is working. Turn the lights on, ac on full blast and radio on turn on the lights inside the car if lights start flicking or radio turns off while battery is out. Replace alternator. Now plug the battery back in the test drive it.

My 2014 Foord Fiesta is giving a problem to start, have to start it in neutral at times for it to start when it driving it won't leave 1st gear and moving from gear one to two the car shake (slip up). if i try to accelerate too fast then the engine will rev and not more. once the car reaches 60kmp that i can drive normal. if i put the car in S-mode it will not let me manual change gears. also at times a warning message comes up and say "transmission hot wait 5 minutes" and "use brake stop safely" Please advise me what is the problem and also if the "TCP" and "Clutch fork" need to change.

@@raanamon1 Yes It was the TCM and Clutch fork was going bad, so I had to change both. The car is now working perfectly.

P07A3 code 2012 focus "transmission element A stuck on" it slamming gears, over revving and missing 2nd and 4th gear. This is intermittent though..

Yesterday, my Focus 2012 SE showed "Transmission Malfunction Service Now" I was in red light and no reverse or drive. After it was taken to my home by a Tow Truck I turned on and no error and I could move it..... The car belongs to my wife so I'm worry about it. Any advise?

Ford has 150k extended warranty on the trans from 2012- 2014 2015 ford fucus. Check your local ford tell them yu need a new transmission and they will fix for free..

I don't know if its cause I'm a women but the stealership just wants to suck your wallet dry every time I go in about something...they are absolute snakes at Ford. So either I'm not saying something right or what when I asked this...I have a 2015 Ford Focus hatchback...so how can I find out this information to have proof...to look like I know what I'm talking about...I need your advice so I can get this dealt with, with them. I'm so fed up and frustrated with these people at the dealership
