I've been interested in gyros for 10 years now. I've always dreamed of flying and I'm finally ready to fulfill that dream now. I came close to buying a second hand one 3 years ago but I decided to save up for a new one that's fully loaded from day one. I'm finally ready to buy one without financing it. I've got experience with helicopters, not as a pilot, but lots of heliportable work. I've taken the stick as often as our pilots would let me. I can maintain a hover, I know that's not much, but it's something. I am going to invest in the best training I can find. Low and slow is the most appealing type of flying to me, although carving through the bush following a winding river seems alot quicker than the dials indicate. Flying makes me feel............I got no words for it. I'm leaning really hard towards this gyro in particular.

The Cavalon felt and flew great. I wish I flew an aircraft with a massage chair! Not even the Falcon 7x I fly has one and that would be really nice on the super long hauls! This Cavalon was probably a little out of phase and could used to be restrung. (simple procedure). Properly rigged, the Cavalon is very smooth as far as any two-bladed tetering rotorcraft can be. Check our quarantine video, no perceived vibes through the audio there!

Diesel has struggled to make it to mainstream for aircraft. Diamond aircraft has successfully employed the AE300 engine. Interesting enough, they are produced in the same country as Rotax engines are, Austria. The diesel's are typically twice the weight per hp as the Rotax engines which makes them only suitable for platforms designed for larger lycoming/continental engines.
