this is exactly what im trying to make happen but when i drag, the date changed. I need it to stay the same and I CANNOT figure it out!

To autofill dates in Google Sheets on desktop, you can follow these steps: 1. Open a Google Sheet and enter two dates that are a week apart in the consecutive cells. 2. Select and highlight the cells. 3. Click on the bottom right corner of the highlighted cells, and drag it until the cell you want to autofill. You can also use autofill to complete a series of dates by entering text, numbers, or dates in at least two cells next to each other and then highlighting the cells. You’ll see a small blue box in the lower right corner. Drag the blue box any number of cells down or across to create a series of dates⁵. I hope this helps! It is necessary to select 2 cells with consecutive dates. If you select only 1 cell to copy, it will autofill that same date

These days you need to put 2 or more consecutive dates then use the 2 instead of 1. This also works with dates which are a week apart if you use 3 or more in a row
