Autodesk Construction Cloud: Beyond Revit Worksharing
On this episode of BIM After Dark Live (Autodesk Construction Cloud: Beyond Revit Worksharing) I welcome back Scott Davis to expand on Autodesk Construction Cloud ("ACC"). Many of you know of the term (or know of "BIM360") and use it for Revit Cloud Worksharing... As great as the Revit Cloud Worksharing is (and it is great), you may not know about all of the other incredible features ACC has to offer... We will dig into how you can take full advantage of the tool you are paying quite a bit of money for... and take live questions along the way..

Can you guys create a video explaining Build Cost Management? I know it's a dull topic, but it's one I can't figure out
Scott! It was great you provided latest hidden features. I love the idea to export from Sheets and push into a File. There is a step missing that Autodesk can really shine, Digital Signature needs to be available for Architects and Engineers. If we could do that in ACC that would be huge! I will put in the Ideas... Great video Revit Kid!

Working the construction side of things, one of the things that holds us back from Bridging is that Issues don't seem to tie through the Bridge. Side note, when you type on your keyboard to answer the chat, the mic picks that up pretty well and it can sometimes distract from what your guest is saying.

Autodesk is bringing more capabilities to Bridge! Ultimately, Bridge should allow ALL aspects of a project to flow, including issues, RFIs, submittals, etc! Stay tuned....

Is there any chance that ACC will be able to manage DWG to DWG links like Vault? It would be nice to migrate our AutoCAD users from Vault to ACC but at the moment we have to stay in Vault because of that.
speaking of build and sheets. WE been using them for few years now. by various departments. Project Mangers Drafters Other managers. just observing each one of them., BUILD is SLOW. delayed. You literally standing in PM office watching how he waits for "sheets" to load or populate.. Thats BAD!!
Excellent Video! The Bimbox computers are ok, the sales is by far the WORST I've ever had. Never again will be buy a BimBox. Bought a couple, but service was so bad. ATG is horrible sales.

Until bridge syncs subfolders it is kinda useless for us.
NO ONE IS EXPLAINING HOW SLOW AUTODESK CONSTRUCTION CLOUD IS. 1. SYNCING... SLOW!!! CRAZY SLOW. AND YES WE HAVE CONTACTED Autodesk support 2. REVIT 2024 SLOW!!! DOES NOT UTIILIEZES, THE URRENT CPU MARKET.. I MEAN FOR HOW LONG!? for how long?? IS REVIT GOING RELEASED TO CUSTOMERS at 16cores max!? WHY ARE THERE NOW VIDEOS, TESTIING .. REAL LIVE TESTING OF PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCES... BETWEEN CPU'S , RAM, SSD.. ETC. SERIOUUSLY. AND THE WAY YOU BROADCAST THIS REVIT PRODUCT, REALLY ANNOYS FEW PEOPLE. WHERE IS LIVE TESTING OF 800MB RVT FILE. YES!!.. LARGE PROJECT THAT NEEDS ADDDRESSED IN TERMS OF SHOPS AND OTHER PRINTS. NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THAT. TODAYY. CPUS AND RAM IS WAY UP THERE. YES REVIT SITS AT 16CORE MAX. WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT.??
Mark my words! When REVIT goes live on MAC Microsoft Windows stocks will start dropping to the floor😂 Yea, think about… Revit is the only reason why I’m forced to use crappy Ms windows 11 that is digressing and it’s ridiculous one drive that doesn’t work with Revit worksharing! 🎉
