AutoCAD to Shape File by QGIS | DWG to SHP
In this video I have shown the method of how to convert an AutoCAD drawing file to Shape file by using QGIS. QGIS is an open source GIS Platform. Steps I have used to create SHP file from a DQG file
1) Make DXF from DWG file.
2) Import DXF in QGIS
3) Set CRS (Coordinate Reference System) in Imported layer.
4) Export to Shape file i.e. .SHP
5) Making ZIP file o SHP which includes (.shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj etc)

Bro for me the co- ordinates are showing in something like Feets how to change that to normal. if i change to decimal then only its showing.. if the unit's or feets its showing co-ordinates in feets and inches

In autocad, select all content of drawing and give a factor 0.3048 in order to convert it from feet to meter. Select Base point as desired

You can import pdf to AutoCAD. If pdf is not clear image then you can digitize it in AutoCAD

It can be done in AutoCad 2022 and higher version
💥💥i am not able to convert feets to meters .. as architectural engineering give Appartment layout plan in Feets , we do survey in Meters using total station.. so how can i align layout plan properly in survey co-ordinates by changing scale and take co-ordinates from that???? Plzz plzz help me

If drawing is in meter then select whole drawing and give scale factor 3.2808

0.3048 is the factor from feet to meter

Make a csv file containing utm coordinates. Then import it via Vector menu Add layer add comma delimited layer. We have a video on that. Please search UTM to lat long in QGIS
