Brandon here back with another new video!
In today's video we are expanding on our last block video and now adding visibility states to our blocks! This will allow you to have multiple block states or views within a single block. Saving you time and effort when it comes to more advanced and complicated blocks.
Using dynamic parameters within blocks is an easy way to automate simple functions and keep things consistent throughout our drawings!
If you want to keep up to date with new videos, be sure to subscribe to the channel and check out my blog, cadintentions.com.
Oh and let me know what autocad tip, trick or tutorial you'd like to see in the next one down below!
Cheers and thanks for watching

This video is super helpful...thanks so much for all of your content. I am hoping you might afford me a little direction as I'm getting into the whole dynamic block world. I'm wondering how one goes about adding hatches to the equation. I feel that I must be missing something very simple, as I'm making a base-level block, with a single stretch attribute, and my hatches within the block doesn't want to stretch along with the linework.

Thanks for this. I used this method to create a viewport title that has a drop down list for scales. Is it possible to take it further and every time I put the viewport title block into a drawing, it asks to link to a specific viewport and then changes the scale on the block to match the viewport?

Hey Brandon, Love the show it has helped me out so much as I am new to Cad. I was wondering if it is possible to make the state's a text and also be able to edit them without going having to open the block? Thanks for all the great videos.

Hopefully, this makes sense...I'm trying to hide a polyline in a block with dynamic text, in a way that when the text scale doesn't match the corresponding viewport, the text and a marker line disappear, but the block stays visible. In this scenario, I have an existing tree block (site plan) that I use on different sheets, the same file, at different scales and I'd like the tree tag and marker line to show up on one sheet and not the other. The text is easy enough, simply delete the associated annotative scale, text disappears, but I'm missing something obvious on the line. Thoughts??
