OPERATION STEPS IN THE VIDEO
Objective: To add a reinforced concrete shoring wall to a cut section of a road project and perform the calculations.
The alignment, profile, assembly, and sections views of the road have already been drawn.
1. A corridor for the road will be created.
Then, an assembly for the shoring wall will be established, planned dimensions will be entered, and the shoring wall will be applied between km 0+040-0+090.
2. A 3D Solid model of the shoring wall will be created from the corridor, and this model will be displayed on the profile view.
The top of the foundation and the top of the wall, following the same gradient as the road, will be set to a fixed elevation, aligning with previously drawn profiles.
3. The shoring wall will sequentially have a shear key, a console, Ø300 drain pipe, Ø100 weephole, and gravel fill added behind it for water drainage.
*The volume of the drain pipe and console will automatically be subtracted from the volume of the gravel fill.
4. Foundation excavation slopes for the shoring wall will be created.
Subsequently, the datum surface for the road will be formed.
5. The backfill areas in front of and behind the shoring wall will be calculated.
6. Volumes for cut-fill, lean concrete, concrete, gravel fill, front side backfill, and back side backfill related to the road will be calculated, and a material table and volume table will be added next to each section views.
7. Application points for the excavation limit and the lean concrete limit will be created.
8. All slopes will be converted to bench slope. For this, the “Bench Slope” assembly will be used.
To create the bench, the design elevation will be lowered by 15 m.
To maintain equal levels of bench along the road, the slope and slope height will be adjusted in the interval where the shoring wall is located.
