Auto georeference aerial photo in ArcGIS | burdGIS
Georeferencing can be a pain but if you need to assign a coordinate system to an image or aerial photo ArcMap has you covered. With a click you georeference your image and save some eye-strain.

"wubba lubba dub dub" hahaha thanks man
Hi guys, I'm actually trying to do the same with grayscale aerial photos (archival like 50s. 70s. 80s. ) and both ArcMap and ArcGIS PRO fail to do it properly, is there any way you could help me with that?

What are you using as the reference? From memory a grayscale image will require a grayscale reference. Get in touch if you're stuck!
Could you save you’re drone aerial photography into a .jpg and import it like this?

Yes that would work fine Mayra. Drone imagery would benefit from having GCPs (ground control points) so you can be sure of the locations.
Can use Drone image with Google Satellite Georeferencing?

I've never tried it :-) it would be very dependent on the area of interest and how recent the gsat images are.

It looks like .ecw can be read in Arc but you mightt have to export to another format if publishing. These are the docs for 10.3: desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/manage-data/raster-and-images/supported-raster-dataset-file-formats.htm
