im from Pakistan and im working as Architectural Project developer cad operator for 20 years in Gulf. im working only in 2D and leading the team even architects cant do most of the work which i do. so you need to be very professional so no one can touch you. offcourse u can earn salary more, 10000 riyals. and yes cad version does not matter if u can work with short keys and set settings to classic.
